Detective Pikachu might be the best video game adaptation ever...and I know I'm going to catch flak for saying this, but that still doesn't make it a good movie. #DetectivePikachu #MovieReview #Pokemon

'Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game manages to take an underused genre and really take it into an exciting new direction. App integration always runs the risk of being a distraction or novelty instead of improving the game.'

Quite liked the detective aspect, and Green's writing is always lovely, but feel that the ending let it down a bit.

Absolutely fantastic. Twists and turns and twists again all with a badass, no nonsense female murder detective. Loved every minute of it.

I won this book from a Goodreads Giveaway and I ended up really liking it, I don't usually go for the detective-murder mysteries but this was a good read. I like the idea that it happens to also be a series, not sure if I'll continue to read about this detective but I liked this book.

In Macallister's second novel, she takes on telling the story of Kate Warne, America's (and maybe the world's) first female detective, who walked into the Pinkerton's Detective Agency in 1856 and insisted Pinkerton take her on as an agent.
