So Harry Potter is kind of my favorite series. I've been trying to find another series that will drag me in like they did. Doesn't have to be fantasy. Any recommendations?

I thought I'd like this book a lot more than I did. The premise is cute, but it seemed to drag on, being repetitive. I just didn't bond with the story.

Second time seeing this movie and boy does the first act drag. It's really really bad. But once you get to the action, this is a movie that I can get behind!
