This book was okay. I didn't feel like I could get into it as much as I would have liked to. There wasn't much character development until the very end and some of the scenes seemed to drag on unnecessary long. After hearing such great reviews for this book, I have to say that I am disappointed.

I feel like I have been reading this forever! I couldn't rate it more simply because it just seemed to drag out for ages. That being said it made me laugh hysterically. I loved the overal plot and there are so many twists and turns that kept me guessing. I also love Sophies little songs, they had me giggling.

For me I think this was where the series really started to drag. So much time spent on describing horses, riding dresses and in-fighting between "sisters". Some fairly major events of the series occur in this book but so much of it is spent sorting out the weather. Some really exciting action scenes but dragged out over far too many pages.

Not a horrible movie but my 11 yearold cousin and 5year old son were lost on the beginning. Definitely more an adult film but did drag and get boring. And all thatispreview islast20 mins of film. Felt like 10000 bc and I'm disappointed feltrecycled like I've already seen itamillion times

It does drag, the book is quite slow too and to split it into two films drags it out even more, but the author would not let anyone edit the book down and wanted everything in the film. At least the film did mirror the book unlike other films where they edit it down so much it is so different from the book.
