Fun Creature Feature
388. Grabbers. Aliens attack Ireland, must be for the women. One night off the coast of Ireland a piece of a meteor comes crashing down into the ocean, and with it, a multi-legged mouth essentially that seems to just eat anything alive that gets in the way, and its making its way to land. Story centers on a small fishing town that's about to be invaded, and the two police taking care of it. As with many stories of small Irish towns, most of the population are drunk, racists, oh wait, it's made by the Irish, so it's ok then. The two officers, O'Shea, an alcoholic, suffering from the past, and Lisa, who is there only temporarily and takes her job seriously... of course. They clash, they flirt, O'Shea gets jealous when investigating the creatures they visit a scientist dude that isn't shy about flirting with Lisa. So after a few attacks, randomly around, they come to the conclusion that they won't attack you if you're intoxicated, tho there is no evidence of this at all, except that the town's biggest drunk has survived, hmm. So the plan is to round up the town folk in the bar, get drunk, and wait for reinforcements. It was an amusing movie, definitely fits into the 'B-Movie' variety. Like I said though, the alcohol thing, only seems to work when the story needed it too, plenty of tipsy people were getting turned into snacks, then again it's not really a movie you have to think all that much about, my bad. Enjoy. Filmbufftim on FB

Easy To Pickup
For Your Eyes Only.
Codenames: Deep Undercover is the NSFW Adult Only team game.
This game is simple, Split into teams, and try to guess the words.
Your Spymasters role is to give you a single word and a number (ie. Ball 4)
As the agents your team must try to work out the 4 cards on the table that link to the word 'Ball', without picking any of the other teams words, or god forbid, The Assassin.
This game is simple to pick up and easy to play, however this game does require some aspect of thought. It's just as fun while drunk however it does make this game considerably more difficult.
Honestly, no game room is complete without some variation of this game. It's easy to set up, and games take from between 10-30 minutes.
A good way to start a night in (or even pre drinks for a night out).
The print quality is high, and game pieces are substantial enough to last a long time.
TL;DR
-Quick Games
-Easy to Learn
-Easiest sober, but possible drunk
-A must have

"Versions of cities flattened under the equalizing night.
The summer demands and takes away too much,
But night, the reserved, reticent, gives more than it takes."
- As One Put Drunk into the Packet Boat
There are so many emotions in this collection: loneliness, grief, sadness, hope, longing, fear--they are all so strong but not overpowering.
I love whenever he talks about stillness and silence. Those moments are so peaceful and full of possibility. It almost makes you ache to be in one of those moments.
His thoughts on writing and what it takes to be a writer and writes are so perfectly beautiful.
There seems to be a theme of forgotten moments and trying to recapture those moments.
Any time he mentioned the night or any water, I just loved. Mainly because I love both of those things, but also because there was so much care in those details that they become so realistic.
My Favorite Poems from the Collection:
As One Put Drunk into the Packet Boat
A Man of Words
Grand Galop
River
The One Thing that Can Save America
Ode to Bill

Get Drunk On All The Angst And Romance!
This is my second time reading ALLTW, and my thoughts have not changed: an absolutely addictive novel. Steiner has incredible talent to mix a perfect romance novel filled with angst, hope, and sexy characters.
The journey Brecks, aka B, takes us on, seeing her get drunk on whiskey, reading the vivid descriptions, truly made me feel buzzed just reading the story. As someone who is a big whiskey drinker, I could feel the slow, delicious burn this novel created between Jamie and B's characters. The possessive feel that I got from Jamie had me quivering for more of him.
This book brought out all the feels in me. Just like the first time reading it, I cried for them during their painful moments, I laughed with them for their fun moments, I was angry at them during their stupid moments. And, I absolutely loved them wholly through all their moments. This entire novel, nee, love letter, was soul deep, raw, and fantastically chiseled. Epic, 5 star worthy novel!
*I read this novel via Kindle Unlimited. All opinions, negative or postive, are my own. *

A Little Slow but an Interesting Story
All robots have 2 protocols, one is to never harm a living thing, the other is the inability to alter themselves. Something goes wrong and insurance agent Jacq is left to figure out what the hell happened. It's a little slow to start but the story is interesting (except for this really really f**king weird bit where Jacq gets drunk). Feels a little like I, Robot though so I don't know how I feel about it. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Typically convoluted Jeeves and Wooster story, set in Brinkley Court and featuring Bertie's Aunt Dahlia (Travers), the newt-loving Gussie Fink-Nottle, Madeline Bassett, Tuppy Glossop and Angela Travers.
This is the also the one that has Wooster unintentionally getting Gussie Fink-Nottle roaringly drunk before the latter has to distribute prizes at a school assembly, alongside Wooster managing to get himself engaged (again) while trying to sort out romantic difficulties between some of his childhood friends.
Leave it to Jeeves to sort everything out by the end!
