I've got to get straight onto the next with that ending.

I really liked this book; it's my first full length foray into dystopian/sci-fi and I really got into the story. Luckily I have the second and will be starting it shortly :)

"Feeling like your world is currently imploding? Here’s an I-couldn’t-put-it-down dystopian novel that makes the end of days kind of cheery (in the end). I just finished reading it, and am glad to have a place to sing its praises."

This is a slow burn romance set after the end of the world. The way the two main characters meet and how their relationship develops makes this a different spin on the typical dystopian novel. This will appeal to both fans of post apocalyptic and lesbian fiction.

"More required reading for would-be beatniks. Every punk rocker moving to New York in the ‘70s had this book around; it became the Bible for the east village aesthetic and free-flowing “cut-ups.” Its dystopian views fit perfectly into the punk rock esthetic of nihilism."
