Decent Horror
A slow burner but enjoyable creature, myth Horror. In a remote rundown town in Oregon a strange creature appears to be attacking local residents. It's very nicely shot and the locations add to the feel of the film. Quite a grim, run down, poor town that has long seen better days. Combined with large areas of remote woodland and mountains adding to the isolated feel. The main story takes the form of an old folk tale about a spirit taking the form of an animal and needing to feed.
The creature effects are good along with the gory makeup effects are both good. If you after a slow burner, errie horror that's a bit different to the norm check this out.

Its silly. Its meant to be silly.
The special effects are awful. They are meant to be awful.
Just suspend disbelief for 2 hours and buckle in.
Brilliant, funny yet scary film following a special ops team that get stuck in the Scottish highlands and soon find themselves being hunted by werewolves.
Sean Pertwee is outstanding in this film.

Shark!
The swinging guillotine scene
The appearance of some familiar faces...
Few new ideas - the obligatory gallows rescue scene is representative of the creativity on show (3 more)
Some weak dialogue, and ancient double entendres
Too long for the plot and unnecessary scenes
Utterly predictable
Another 'quest for an artifact' movie with few new ideas

This action drama weaves such an interesting tale that it makes Gladiator have a high replay value. The music and sound effects are incredible at pulling the viewer in and immersing them in the world that was the Roman Empire.

Nicely done.
Finally got to watch this one. I really enjoyed this take on the Dracula legend. The acting was good and the cinematography and effects were great. Dark and foreboding, as it should be. The story was a little predictable in some parts but definitely kept the interest and entertained thoroughly. This one is definitely worth a watch.
