Water Weaver (Wraidd Elfennol #1) by Morgan Sheppard
This book has certainly earned the #Epic tag - at over 600 pages this is a book that you can submerge yourself into. However, it certainly doesn't feel like that amount when you are reading it as the pages almost turn themselves as the story carries you along.

The characters are all well-developed and grow throughout the story as they have to learn how to work together, using and acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses. There are not only the four human main characters, but also we have four animal Life Partners too, who all have their own individual characters and quirks.

With a smooth and flowing pace and a gentle tone, this book is suitable for all ages, with no grammatical errors or spelling mistakes that I noticed. Highly recommended.

* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

A Cult Classic
From the same director that brought us, District 9 and Elysium. We have the masterpiece that is Chappie. I can't express how much love I have for this film. So much love. The cast is ace, the CGI is incredible and the story...oh man the story is a work of art. Sigourney Weaver known as the alien go-to lady, plays an interesting role in this film, I liked her portrayal of the CEO. Hugh Jackman *sigh* I adore him and he shines in this role (as always) but he unfortunately plays a total a**hole :( Yo-Landi and Ninja the world's worst parents but in the best way :) (They both members of the band Die Antwoord, which has some top tracks, well worth a listen) Overall, this is just an epic film. Watch it. You won't be disappointed!

Fun spin on the cooking competition genre
This show is so fun to watch. I love competition shows, but they can start to feel a little too familiar after a while. Nailed It feels fresh and original. The contestants are all amateur chefs. Anyone who's ever tried to recreate an amazing recipe they saw online or on a cooking show will relate both to the competitors and to the premise. You cheer them on even as you laugh at their failures, because everyone has been there at some point, or had a friend or relative that turned up with some epic cake fail at a birthday party. Because of this, the show wouldn't work if the judges were mean, and they aren't. They're funny, and they gently tease the would-be chefs throughout the show while they give advice and encouragement. The host is charismatic and fun, and the banter between the judges always sparkles. Currently my cooking show of choice.

Well obviously The Rock, I love the relationship between him and the ape. I like that they threw in a little fun with such a serious attitude of the movie for the most part. (0 more)
It was nothing like I hoped it would be, it was so hyped up but it left me kind of meh at the end. It was good but just not my favorite, not sure I would recommend it unless they are die hard Rock fan (0 more)
I had a love/hate relationship with this
Contains spoilers, click to show
They could have worked a few things out differently, they definitely overplayed the bad guys in places they should have been more focused on what was actually happening around them with the whole city falling apart and giant creatures attacking everywhere. The action scenes between the animals and The rock was just too much. There should have definitely more action with the animals themselves with all the crazy changes they had gone through it would have been epic

Keanu Reeves IS the Buddha in this hard-to-categorise epic. At first glance it looks like a ridiculous choice, but on reflection, which other actor, particularly of his generation, could have done a better job? This doesn't mean that the flashbacks to the Buddha's early life in ancient India are any less difficult to take completely seriously - though vivid and unusual, this part of the film is still as didactic and earnest as the rest of it - but at least they're better than the stodgy present-day stuff, which is afflicted by a performance from Chris Izaak so wooden he makes Keanu look like Daniel Day-Lewis.

Still, for the open-minded there is some interesting material about the origins and philosophy of Buddhism here; not much to reward the cynical, though. It's probably a bit too slow and underpowered to really be considered a success, but few failures are quite as original and interesting as this one.

EPIC
Coffey (Michael Clark Duncan RIP) is arrested with the charges of killing two young girls and is sentenced to death and comes to live on death row with a couple of guards and a few wild inmates. He is also blessed with an amazing gift that allows him to take the pain away from people only to inflict a horrible pain on himself. Edgecomb (Hanks) who is the lead guard takes a liking to him and learns of this gift first hand and has him help others in massive need of help even though it was gonna hurt him even more. Many of things happen from a cruel guard who finally learns his place to a fun loving mouse who finds a home with a unusual tenant. This power that Coffey has is shown through out the movie and the different ways it works is astonishing.

The cast in this movie were absolutely amazing couldn't see or would want to see another group try

EPIC
A group of 5 criminals who are always rounded up whenever a big crime is committed (hence the title.) They ending working together to commit a few crimes together when they are tracked down by a man working for a notorious crime figure named Kaisar Soze (sorry if badly misspelled) who begins to blackmail then to do one last deadly job and they can have their lives back. This all leads to amazing dramatic ending. The movie is full of major twists and turns and if you blink you might miss a huge plot point.

This is a movie that can never and should never be remade because you can't recreate a masterpiece. The twist I never saw coming and there are few actors today who could even play Kaisar Soze. This is a must see movie for all crime lover alike and anyone who likes a mystery.

I give this book a four because I couldn't get into it at first. It did get more interesting as it went along. This could have been because it had been so long since I read the first book. I don't want to make the same mistakes with Sever. I need to get that one very soon. In the end, I enjoyed the epic cliffhanger, but I felt very sorry for all of the troubles that had befallen Rhine. She had to go through so much crap in both of the books and I hope she doesn't have to go through so much in the next one. Overall, I would recommend this to people. The first book was amazing, and the second one, if I had read it in a timely manner, I think could have been just as good from the start. Great job Ms. DeStefano! I look forward to future adventures with your books!

A real tearjerker of a documentary
It felt weird rating this documentary as "epic," but whatever.

I saw this in theaters this week and cried like a little girl. This is a documentary about a wonderful man who did wonderful things. It showcased how he cared--truly, truly cared--and it called on the audience to remember his message: that you don't have to do anything spectacular to be special. You're perfect just the way you are. You have inherent value as a person, and you deserve to be loved and to be able to love.

If ever there was a man who embodied Christian values, it was Mr. Rodgers. The interviews here were especially poignant. They have the diverse cast and crew offer their memories and opinions. Some are heartbreaking, like interview with Francois "Officer" Clemmons.

Do yourself a favor. Watch this documentary. Remember what you learned all those years ago: you are perfect just the way you are.
