This being, at the time of writing, their latest.
Based on the video game series by Capcom (yes, the same people who did the Resident Evil games) which - I have to admit - I've never actually played, it's very easy to spot the influences of said game on the film, which (in the film) sees Jovovich's US Ranger Lt Artemis and her men transported to an alien environment infested by, you guessed it!, various icky monsters. It's also extremely easy to spot the influences of other, far far better, 'creature features': think Starship Troopers, Tremors or even Aliens to name but three!
Perhaps, as a non-player of the game, I'm just not the target audience ...?

There isn't a great deal of depth to the story as such but Michael is one lethal killing machine. The scene when faced with a whole fire crew is pure carnage. A little sub plot of the town coming together as a mob to tackle Michael was a bit silly. By the end you know Michael is pure evil and sets up for Halloween Ends next year.

Catalyst: A Tessa Avery story
By Lucy Roy
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A god who wants to fix a world he considers broken. A goddess who wants to destroy him before he gets the chance. What happens when evil begins to take on shades of gray?
***Spoilers ahead for the Tessa Avery series***
Catalyst is the thrilling story of a villain whose desire to right his own wrongs ultimately leads to his own destruction. This should be read after completing books 1-3 of the Tessa Avery trilogy.
I absolutely loved the Tessa Avery series those books were just so good so this little novella from Chaos’s point of view was really enjoyable. He started out with intentions to change his creation and somewhere along the way he lost the way and almost destroyed it.

I love Miranda's writing she is so imaginative and her stories just tend to flow. There are always seems to be the right amount of drama, love, action, fighting and dialogue between all of the characters involved.
This book seems to have a lot of sexual content but it's not crude it's written in a protective way almost.
If you love vampires, magic, gods/goddesses, and fighting for your life I would recommend reading this book it's fantastic!
