Really good show. Dwayne Johnson is excellent as Spencer. There are funny moments in the show, but there are also some thoughtful moments. On season 3 now and it's still a good show. The whole cast is quite good.

I don't really read fantasy fiction but I do enjoy Donna Grant's work and I'm grateful to be granted the chance to read the latest in the dragon kings saga set in the highlands of Scotland. An excellent start.

Original Storyline

Love it!

This is an excellent show that really makes you wonder if something like this could really happen. It is not a leave you in a good mood kind of show though. Slightly depressing.

Really enjoyed this book. Michael Marshall Smith has an excellent vision of the future, clever ideas and well written characters, with slightly dark humour ans a few twists in the plot too. A great book, well worth a read.

A series full of frights, twists and plenty of thrilling drama. The acting was excellent and the characters perfectly creepy fitting in amazingly well with the themes of the show.

"It is so long. I’ve never read the whole thing at once, but have jumped around a lot. I've enjoyed doing that, although the ‘80s mini-series, plus the excellent, recently released film, complicate that relationship to the book."

Rolling Stone's 309th greatest album of all time

Excellent album, including the superb anthemic Fortunate Son and a number of other songs in a similar vein. Great introduction to the band and a great example of 70s Southern rock.

Superb album from one of the bands that made the 90s. Some totally excellent rock songs (Jeremy, Alive, Even Flow) and while there is some filler it is a brilliant listen.
