Excellent 80's game
Another vintage game I had as a kid and spent hours playing. Basically air hockey at home. You wind the handle to speed up the spinning metal piece and press release. You then have to move your red slider to block and try and score at the other end. The spinning piece made a very loud whirring noise as well. A classic game!

Fantastic read. Well written, fast paced read with a great plot and characters. This book is entertaining and has elements of suspense, and mystery. It is a bit graphic and disturbing on difficult subjects. It is still an excellent read. I can't wait to read the next in the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.
Joel (2 KP) rated John Wick (2014) in Movies
Feb 15, 2019
John Wick is that film that we needed, the action genre has suffered from bad action for years, but this film has some excellent hand to hand action scenes with some exciting moments and little deatails which make this film look great. The only true issue is the premise, it is often weak and it's often forgotten about in the film

Fun
I really enjoy playing this game. You don't have to spend a fortune to play it. The most I've spent on something is collectively 10 dollars. It's a pretty fun game. The creators are pretty good at getting back to you if you have an issue, theres even a fan page I'm apart of that is pretty excellent.

At first, I wasn't sold on Brad Pitt as Achilles. But, after watching this film a few times, I think he really worked. Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom did well as Hector and Paris. Of course the film took liberties with the story, but, what film doesn't? The fight scenes were excellent.

Summer of 2018's Best Comedy
The summer of 2018 is light on comedy, and Tag fills the void well. The cast is excellent, and has a ton of chemistry.
However, the pacing of the movie is inconsistent. The jokes that land are hilarious. But the in between can feel a little dry.
Also, certain characters are underutilized (see: Rashida Jones).

While it is excellent work, this is not really an entertainment read. Ward lays out so much in story far more powerfully than any essay on American race relations, trauma, privilege, and rural southern life ever could. It was chilling, moving, eyeopening for me. I definitely want to read Ward's other books.
The audiobook is very well done as well, read by a talented cast.
