This fascinating historical fiction novel is a psychological profile based on the true story of Grace Marks, the woman convicted of a double homicide in 1843. Denis Villeneuve effectively presents a Sci-Fi film with as much heart as it does terrifying visuals. Amy Adams is an absolute powerhouse and deserved recognition from the Academy in this film. Brilliant cinematography throughout, bookended by remarkable writing. A must-see for Science Fiction fans. 10/10
