Oh WOW This book was simply amazing!
I have not read very many books by Amy Clipston but this one was Great. Such a compelling story about listening to what God has for you even though it is hard and you do not always have support. God uses these times to grow us and show us the way we are suppose to go. A truly great read that made my heart happy ! I highly recommend getting this book into your hands!
I volunteered to read this book from Zondervan Fiction in exchange for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

History, huh? Bet we could make some

OKAYYYYY

I knew I would love this book before I even opened it. It just has everything I love about fiction and I love both Alex and Henry and it was ever so happy, and if you know me you know I LOVE happy.

Don't get me wrong I did love this and I absorbed it and couldn't put it down but there were just a few little things that I didn't love which is what's holding me off on giving it the 5-star rating I really wanted to give it but it's still definitely my favourite book I've read this year.

i think this book and me just met at the wrong time because when I finally got I to this I did really enjoy it however it took me a FRICKING long time to get into it. I was in a YA rut and this was the first non YA book that I read in a LONG time and I just don't think I was ready for the world of adult fiction again but this book honestly was so well written and such an uplifting story it just didn't agree with me right now but I would like to give it another chance but for now it's a no

"A modern classic. So original and exciting to watch. The premise itself is like a science fiction story, except that it is all very human and emotional. I think it’s Jim Carrey‘s best and most relatable performance. Kate [Winslet] is always amazing, but here she gets to do something she’d never done before. She’s so scattered and passionate and real. It’s heartbreaking because it’s about heartbreak and vulnerability and the inability to navigate through it all, which is, of course, an essential part of the human experience. It’s entirely unique, from an original voice, and that, in itself, deserves applause. The music is brilliant also."

"Another maverick reinventor of film procedure, Leigh arrives at his scripts by hiring actors capable of improvising behavior for the characters Leigh conceives, and then he compiles and hones the script from weeks of their recorded improvisations. The characters as filmed are always convincing and multidimensional in the way of real life, something rare in fiction movies. Usually Leigh’s films are ultimately optimistic or at least life-affirming, but Naked is an exception. It’s a study of a brilliant, manipulative, domineering, womanizing, articulate, suicidally provocative, near-Satanic young man, who is finally sympathetic, with a worldview that can’t be dismissed, and who is doomed. That’s the way I remember it, anyway."
