Weak Premise (0 more)
John Wick is that film that we needed, the action genre has suffered from bad action for years, but this film has some excellent hand to hand action scenes with some exciting moments and little deatails which make this film look great. The only true issue is the premise, it is often weak and it's often forgotten about in the film

A very enjoyable film and although a big budget film it doesn't overload you with SFX scenes. It's part action, disaster film but with a good solid storyline to it. The action/disaster scenes are very intense and not seen on this scale before. Not everyone will enjoy the way it ends but overall a very good film worth seeing on the big screen.

The film is a great funny film. It’s one to watch even if your not into the marvel films. The film is for all ages. And the special effects were amazing it felt like it could be real. It fills in so many plot holes and it’s a good film to sit and watch with the family

A remake that people should watch
Dawn of the dead, was a good remake of the original film. Zack snyder makes his film debut in directing with this film and he did a good job. James gunn wrote the screenolay and he did a good job. Back in 2004 these two were new in hollywood, now look at them. I liked this film lot.

"This beautifully visual film is about a film director, Guido Anselmi, trying to make his latest movie. The film goes back and forth between his memories of his childhood, his fantasies, and his present life. The imagery is iconic and unforgettable—the quintessential Fellini. Who could ever forget the monumental Saraghina dancing on the beach? The images from this film have stayed with me my whole life."

"The next one is a Soviet film, Man with a Movie Camera, made by Dziga Vertov and, I hasten to add, his wife Elizaveta Svilova. She was his creative partner. She edited the film. She appears in the film. They both do. Same with the cameraman. Just the sequence where we see her editing and then see the results of the editing process. It’s a film."

"This is a film that I could deeply personalize with. When making my films Tarnation and the follow-up, Walk Away Renee, I easily recalled this amazing film in my mind’s eye. I have never seen a film depicting mental illness so raw and pure as this. The film is so real that one often feels that they are really, really eavesdropping on something. Amazing."

An extremely open advocate for a dying artform makes a film that both marks the downfall and celebrates the beauty. Having watched "Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood" twice, one digital print and one 35mm, I absolutely recommend watching the film with the actual film print projected and then watch the film a few more times to fully appreciate the magic.
