Quite funny
Something different from most Horror films
Cool original Horror film
A decent twist to the old creepy cabin in the woods genre. It led to an unusual feel to the film though, it wasn't like watching a slasher film as you know something else is going on behind the scenes. It has a fair bit of dark humour to it as well. The twist does make for a more interesting film, so at least it tried something different.

It was an alright film, trouble is Jennifer Anniston can only play one role. The only interesting item about the film was that one scene takes places at a technology conference and they are talking about the internet and World Wide Web, I streamed the film over the internet to watch it so it was kind of ironic, yes I know the film is over 10 years old but again Jennifer if you see her now does not to have aged at all.

This film was predictable and laughable. The concept beneath both this and the previous film is something that could really be honed with time and practice. But that is what this film entirely lacks. The acting was on par on some behalfs, but this film is entirely niched for a younger generation - those of which don't really like it that much either.
One positive was the pure constrain you could feel from the director holding back on using overly cheap and gory gags.

Bizarre
No wonder this went straight to DVD in the UK. It is a gritty, raw film with some graphic, brutal violence....as you would expect. However the film does just feel a bit of a mess overall and a big disappointment after the great 2007 remake of the original Halloween film was done so well. The visions of his Mum at least offer an idea in to Michael's mind but the film just seemed all over the place at times.

After putting off watching this film for some time I decided to give it a go one evening after hearing all of my friends praise it. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it as much as they said I would. Even though Hugh Jackman and Zach Efron were brilliant actors I just couldn’t bring myself to put all of my attention into watching the film. I would recommend this film if you enjoy musicals but I wouldn’t bother watching it again.

The film is nicely done and the CGI is lovely, as is the film, I was laughing at parts of the film and thinking to myself, what a lovely film for the kids to see and I bet they would love it, it’s quite fast-paced and they really isn’t a moment when I child could get bored, though they are those moments when little boys will say “Ewwwww they’re kissing”, but that’s part of the charm of the movie.

A nice surprise!
A surprising good Horror film that is definitely different to the normal Slasher. A small group hire an old barn in a remote area to make an adult film. The old couple on the farm find out which lead to a series of events to unfold.
For a low budget indie film it was really good, creepy, sinister, with good gore effects as well. A prequel Film Pearl was made at same time.

The level of details put in
Brilliant animation
A greatly detailed animation film that is full of fun. You can tell when an animation film has had a lot of time, care and thought put into it. The quality of the lighting, shadows, reflections and even fur are up there with the best animations. It's bright and colourful as well to appeal to the kids. I didn't notice the strong voice cast until the credits came up including Jackie Chan, to have all of them in one film is impressive, in an animated film even more so. This is a funny film all ages should enjoy.
