One of the best slasher films
Like Scream, this is by far one of the best slasher films and is one of my all time favourites. I grew up watching films like this - I may have only been 10 when it first came out in 1997, but my parents weren’t too fussy about renting me these sorts of films - and it was almost mandatory to watch this at every teenage sleepover at high school.

It has a great young and popular cast (back when Jennifer Love Hewitt was good) with a fantastic soundtrack. And not only that, the plot is actually pretty intriguing and even now some of the scenes are pretty scary and creepy - the one in the deserted department store still creeps me out. I’ve always loved the fact that this film plays on the classic urban legend of the man with a hook for a hand, as that was always one of my favourites. They really don’t make slasher films like this anymore.

As bad as The Nun
After watching this I almost want to copy and paste the majority of my review of The Nun, as I feel the same way about La Llorona as I did about that.

I hate these types of films, especially all of these created within this whole Conjuring universe. They're not scary, rely on pretty poor jump scares and the more of these films they make, the more predictable and dull they are. And I felt that La Llorona is almost on par with The Nun, even the Annabelle films are better than this. La Llorona herself is a terrible spirit, looks ridiculous and the whole plot is just far too similar to many other films that have gone before it. There's an episode of Supernatural similar to this plot that is miles better!

I really need to stop watching these films, as much as they need to stop making them.

"Then the films that made me want to become an actor were films that were recommended by my father when I was 16, and I got my first VHS player, and they were very often these French films, Italian films in the ’60s and ’70s, and one of the films that impressed me the most was Rocco and His Brothers. Neo-realism — Rocco and His Brothers with Alain Delon, which is great because it’s told in different chapters. I think five chapters. Telling the story of each of these brothers, of this poor southern Italian family coming to Milan trying to begin a new life, and the authenticity of that neo-realistic Italian filmmaking, is very impressive. Also the drama, the way it is told, and big family issues of rivalry and jealousy and love and hatred are told in a magnificent and very moving way, and with a wonderful young Alain Delon playing Rocco."

A truly awful film
If I could give it 0 stars I would. One of the worst films ever. I get some films are so bad they are actually funny unintentionally. This tries to replicate that intentionally. You'll want to turn off after 5 minutes.

Arnie at his best
A close call as one of Arnie's best films. A very good action/horror that still looks up to date with recent films. Simple premise as the hunters become the hunted. The Predator looks awesome and the effects, with little cgi, still look good 30 years later.

Good mix of live action and animation
One of Jim Carrey's better films. It's very funny and has good animation for the mask. One of Cameron Diaz's earliest films. Re-watched it recently, starting to look a bit dated now and the comic book humour is losing it's charm now.

Brillant
Easy to use app with a great variety of popular films and shows as well as the more unknowns. Only issue is the wait between episodes for auto play and that the seasons show seperate on watch next.

I've been meaning to watch this for years, had some of the big names of actions films from the 90's and 80's even. It has a very simple plot and to be honest doe's look a bit dated compared to more recent action films, not bad for the time it was made.
