4.5 stars
I don't remember much from the first one in this series but it had to be amazing for me to give it five stars because I very rarely give them out.
I didn't need to remember much though because a lot was explained at least he beginning of this and I just fell back into the story. I love Daemon!
Off to start book three!!

(upped my rating to five stars because in hindsight it probably was a five-star read)
loved loved LOVED this! I loved the story, It was LOOOOOONG but I loved the characters (the side characters more than I loved Evie though but hey) and I will most definitely be continuing with this series! The audiobook is delightful and January LaVoy does such an incredible job with the narration!

Flagg's latest novel is a portrait of rural America written with charm and wit (as usual), that's both poignant and uplifting. Find out why I'm giving it five stars in my review here. <br/>https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2016/11/09/an-elmwood-springs-retrospective/

Five fantastic stars. Lisa Renee Jones has done it again. Engrossed from the first page and had a few late nighters because I couldn't put it down An awesome start to the series and I hope I don't have to wait to long for the next.

This was a well written and intriguing story line with characters that came to life right in front of your eyes. This read is perfect for readers of all ages. I didn't give it five stars as there were moments for me where the story seemed to drag a bit.
I feel like I learned a lot from this book. It opened my mind to change and how to treat myself differently. By focusing on my spirit, I could open myself to my most intimate self over time. It is because of this that I give this book all five stars.
