This isn't the type of book I would usually read, but I really enjoyed it. It was funny, moving, and surprisingly sad in places, and almost made me cry on the train! It also many correct insights about living in (particularly north) London, and I feel that it will now occupy a soft spot in my heart.

All in all, Everything Everything is a watered down modern day rehash of the Boy in the Plastic Bubble with a female lead. The film tries to be funny and dramatic yet fails to succeed at either.

Multiple endings on the DVD
Did the butler do it?
One of my favourite comedy films of all time. Based on the Cluedo board game, featuring an all star cast. This is a timeless classic with so many quotable lines. The DVD has a multiple endings option to mix up repeat viewings.

Quite funny at times
Some good action scenes
A fun tribute film
This film doesn't try to change anything from the TV show. It's simple mindless fun and happy to make fun of itself. A hot cast, silly plot, in jokes and a nice location make this an easy watch to switch your brain off.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) in Books

As usual Rick Riordan does not disappoint! I am looking forward to see how this merges with Percy Jackson. I love all of these books because of the snarkiness of the characters that is not rude but funny and sarcastic. Also the fact that kids learn of mythology through these books is awesome. I hope he keeps them coming.

Suswatibasu (1703 KP) rated Storm Front: The Dresden Files, Book 1 in Books

Funny and a little silly
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started listening to this but it turned out to be a cross between Harry Potter and The Godfather. Most of it is a little bit bizarre but you have to roll with the punches. It's eccentric and a light listen so don't expect anything amazing.
