I normally don't go for these teen shows but I was intrigued by the whole Archie thing. I love how it's SO different and dark! The HS stereotypes are funny and sometimes makes it more comedic than dramatic, which is great. It's not for everyone, but it's fun to watch and isn't a show you have to take super seriously.

Meg and Michael are hosting an extreme coquette tournament on their property when Meg stumbles across a body half hidden under a bush. Not quite as funny as previous entries in the series, but the mystery is strong.

Baseball gets the Amelia Bedelia treatment as she agrees to help out some neighborhood boys with a game against their cross town rivals. Another funny look at how words can mean multiple things that kids and parents will enjoy.

My Cousin Vinny (1992)
1992 | Comedy
This movie is still funny, however many years after the fact. I completely forgot about this movie until my Grams busted out the VHS tape to watch last time I visited (AND it wasn't rewound... so we had to wait 5 minutes for it to rewind. I definitely don't miss that). Joe Pesci was absolutely hilarious in this film as the unsuccessful lawyer.

Fun haunted house story
Strand has the unique ability to make the horrific funny. SICK HOUSE goes from zero to sixty in about thirty pages and then never lets up. Beyond that, his characters are flawed but likeable--an increasingly rare phenomenon in horror. And it never seems forced, nor does he rely on cheap thrills and cliches. I love it.

Let your freak out
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years, which is saying a lot for me because I get bored rather quick. This podcast is very funny, but serious when needed. It also normalizes Female sexuality, which I really appreciate BECAUSE being female doesn’t mean being a delicate flower....I wanna get my freak on too lol.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010)
2010 | Comedy, Family
The first of 3 films, about a kid trying to fit in at middle school. Everyone can relate to a large part of the film. Starting a new school, with older kids, growing up and trying to fit in. It has a few childish moments meant to be funny for very young viewers perhaps. Overall a decent family comedy film.

Surprisingly Good
I enjoyed more than I thought I would that's for sure. Had me laugh out loud quite a bit. With ideas along the lines of Back to the future, 13 going on 30 although in reverse it creates some scenes that are funny. It has a decent storyline keeping it altogether as well. Give it a try, you might be surprised!

It’s what I would call a hormedy or in this case even a gormedy. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, there are jokes and funny moments. A good blend of horror, gore, and comedy. If you like your horror movies scary and serious this is not the movie for you. It definitely kept my attention and I’d watch it again.

The 'weather' (0 more)
Ruined By The Weather
A brilliant podcast unfortunately completely ruined by the inclusion of the 'weather' segment, which seems to consist of dreadfully bad music. Everything else in this podcast is fantastic - well written, well acted, well produced, very funny, an engrossing storyline, and wonderfully imaginative - but the 'weather' was just too much to bear.
