This book is an enjoyable, 'heart'- warming story about dealing with learning to live a 'normal' life after not knowing whether you were going to have a life at all. It also touches on the very important subject of organ donation being opt-out instead of opt-in, which is a very important cause. All in all, an easy read that covers all bases - family, love, friendships, health, grief. I found the back and forth between past, future, blog, news reports a bit confusong at times, but not enough to detract from the book.

Fun Movie
This was a really good movie. Venom had some funny lines, and overall was surprisingly likeable. I'm curious as to how they will portray Venom later on since he was a villan in the comics, but in the movie he is depicted as an anti hero. This was a great introduction to a character I think we will see a lot of in the future. Venom is not part of the overall MCU so movies like this make great place holders while waiting on Avengers films.

This is the first book in this series by these authors. These two writers have made an outstanding book. This story and writing just blew me away. This is a gripping read, you won't want to put it down.the characters were well written and had fantastic chemistry between them. This is a fantastic start to the series. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Highly recommended start to the series

This was my first time reading a graphic novel and the plot of this story sounded interesting but I found that I was quickly confused and losing interest. There didn't seem to be much to the story in this first volume and I don't even feel as though the author did a good job of setting up the plot for future volumes. Originally I had given this story a 4 star rating, and I have since dropped it to a 2 star rating the more I thought about it.

I thought I remembered reading once if you rating something you could go back and rate it again in the future; however, that does not seem to be the case. I tried rerating a few movies and it appears my original rating is locked and I can't enter a new one. Can this be corrected? Also, I remember asking once if there is a way to list whether or not I have already rated something when I go to a particular item rather than having to scroll through all the ratings. Any update?

Hi folks - thanks for the feedback on this.

Just some background on this - we were very much noticing that the number of ratings/reviews for non-popular or older items was proportionately low. As you might expect, Smashbombers typically only rate/review items that are recent to them or in some way important to them.

Daily Missions is there to plug this gap. Users are now offered items that they would often never rate/review otherwise for their opinion. We figured that seeing an item with, say, 10 ratings is more useful than no ratings at all. We then prompt the user to review any of the items they've just rated at the end of the mission, which has worked well.

We are doing some extra work on Daily Missions for the next update (including offering the user more control over what sub-categories to rate/review), but I do understand your concerns with the current scoring.

So, we've have decided to reduce the points given for Daily Missions (down to 1 per mission) making the 'organic' KP that users receive more valuable again. We will also be increasing the daily KP allowance for users to increase the KP flow between users.

As always, I encourage any other ideas on how we can make users want to review items (now we have a much healthier number of ratings coming in) without incentivising them as such (bevcause incentivising content = lower quality).

Thanks as always for the feedback!

Is the DCEU better down where it's wetter? #Aquaman (2018) #Review
Imagine, ten years ago, if someone had told you the future of the DC cinematic universe would rest on the shoulders of…Aquaman. Yeah, that Aquaman, the character who had only really made it into pop culture consciousness as a fish-wrangling joke. Fresh from the, if not triumph, then at least plummet-arresting crunching gear change of “Justice League”, the DCEU looks to rise once again from the depths with this Māui-ised incarnation of Arthur Curry....

I'm sad that this will only be a trilogy, but, it certainly went out with a bang.

Kim is in Berlin under the guise of being an official's wife. Let's just say, that lasts all of 5 seconds. The story is quickly paced, and a tad predictable. There weren't really any loose ends that we're tied up. I definitely plan on buying this series of books so I can read them again.

I wouldn't mind seeing more books about people with talents, perhaps set a little further into the future, or in the past.

This book has been on my to-read list for some time both because it is a classic and because it is a favorite of my dads and older brothers. I absolutely loved this book. It was beautifully written and the tone was unique. I greatly enjoyed going on the complicated emotional journey of Montag. The world that Bradbury created was imaginative while also feeling like a possibility for a dystopian future. I loved this book and honestly want to read it again because I feel like each read through would give you more.
