Smashbomb allows users to review many types of media.
I recently discovered Smashbomb. It's similar to Goodreads but you can review more than books. Movies, apps, TV shows, music, video games, tabletop games, podcasts, and tech are reviewed also.
You can access Smashbomb by downloading the app or by going to Smashbomb.com.
You can easily import your ratings and/or reviews from Goodreads. I had difficulty importing my ratings from IMDb. When I figure out what I'm doing wrong I'll write a blog post to explain.
You earn badges and can be awarded KP, kudos points.
Users can award you KP because of your review or "for submitting high quality content". The amount of daily KP you are rewarded is based on your KP score. The more KP you earn, the more influential you become.
"Some badges are earned based on kudos points (KP) awarded by other users, and others are awarded by Smashbomb directly." As of 11/27/18, approximately 90 badges are offered. "Higher level badges are a sign of authority and trust, which will result in increased exposure and more followers."
I like the KP system, the badge system, and the concept of being able to go to one place for all of the reviews offered.

This book was excellent! I was thrilled to win a copy through Goodreads just based on the jacket copy. Let me tell you, this book didn't disappoint! This is only the second of Scottoline's books that I've read but I am definitely a fan now.
I could not put this book down. I didn't figure out what was REALLY going on until the second to last chapter. And even then I was shocked! I thought things were over but they weren't...not by a long shot. This is the kind of book I love and it is worth your time to check out too.

I loved this book. LOVED. One of my top reads in the past couple years for sure. I received it for free after winning a Goodreads giveaway. I don't want to give anything away so I will be general in my review. The concept/plot are unique but believable. The characters were really well rounded and relatable. You are immediately sucked in to their world. This was so much better than a lot of the dystopian books that are being pumped out right now. I love that it could stand alone as well as being the first installment of a trilogy. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

This was a GREAT read. It sucked me in right from the beginning and the characters had depth and were rounded enough that you were immediately attached to them. I don't want to write about the plot so much as I received an advanced copy through a goodreads giveaway and I definitely don't want to spoil it for any potential readers! That being said, the story line is unique and captivating and fits well with the YA/Dystopian genre without being another one of the tired, overworked books that are being pumped out right now. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

Any book you can think of is already in the app (3 more)
You can create different shelves for different purposes
There are many groups you can join for your interests
You can create a yearly goal for yourself and it will track your progress as you read more books
Parts of it are kind of hard to understand (you have to make sure you press "read" or else it won't log as part of your yearly goal) (1 more)
There is no fast way to delete or mark as read your entire inbox, so I have to go through and open up 575 separate messages from all of my groups...
I ADORE Goodreads!
First of all, a huge thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this book since I won the giveaway on Goodreads.
I am not much of a religious person, and that might be the only reason why this book didn't really touch me at all.
I liked the story though, amazing description and pace, I loved how descriptive the characters were and actually very friendly and lovable, but when it would come to the ''preaching'' side of things - not my piece of cake. Though for the ones that enjoy the religious side of things, and stories about God, this would be the perfect book for you!

I read this book years ago, and had rated it (by memory) with 1 star on Goodreads. Having recently re-read it, I now think that might be a bit harsh.
On the other hand, 2 stars might be a bit generous.
I found this heavy going, slow to start, and not really all that exciting. It's unusual in that it is set in the time of Alexander (the Great), but this Alexander - or more particularly - his army, are actually the villains of the piece, with Kineas and his band of Mercenaries fighting against the invading Macedonians in the company of the Scyths.
Not impressed over all.

This is a great website if you are a bookworm like me.
You can find many great books on there and see what people think. If you have any questions about the book(s) you have read or are reading you can ask the author.
It is good for authors who are just starting out and authors who really want to hear what their readers think. Any feedback is good even if it is positive.
Goodreads lets you set challenges for yourself such as how many books you want to read this year.
Lastly there times when you can vote for books for awards.
