I thought this book was very touching. It made me both laugh and cry throughout its entirety and I love how it ended. This book really makes you think about your own life and the people in it, both past and present. Great book, so glad I got a free copy of it through Goodreads!

I am a big fan of organizing things into lists and reviewing them. I already am an avid user of Goodreads and Letterboxd and TV Time. This is a great place to get the rest (music, games, podcasts, etc.) organized! I'm looking forward to figuring out how to navigate this app and to get started listing away!
Katey Bassett (610 KP) rated The Ruin (Cormac Reilly, #1) in Books
Dec 10, 2018
I won this book from a Goodreads Giveaway and I ended up really liking it, I don't usually go for the detective-murder mysteries but this was a good read. I like the idea that it happens to also be a series, not sure if I'll continue to read about this detective but I liked this book.
Katey Bassett (610 KP) rated The Balcony in Books
Dec 10, 2018
I won this book on a Goodreads Giveaway and I didn’t realize it was a collection of short stories all connected by one place. There were some quotes that really struck a chord with me, however, overall I really felt it was hard to get into some of the stories and connect with some of the characters.
Katey Bassett (610 KP) rated The Improbable Wonders of Moojie Littleman in Books
Dec 10, 2018
I won this book from a Goodreads giveaway (it is beautifully signed by Robin Gregory and it hilariously was “sent” from the fainting goat farm. I was hesitant of the book when I first started it but the further I got the more I loved little Moojie and wanted to see good things happen to him.
Katey Bassett (610 KP) rated Uncanny in Books
Dec 10, 2018
This was a Goodreads Giveaway that I won. I really enjoyed this and it surprised me by the end, certain aspects came about that I didn't think would. About Hannah and Cora...the concept of cannies still feels sort of science fiction even though AI has come a long way and is still evolving and improving.
Lizzi Lewins (73 KP) rated Goodreads: Book Reviews in Apps

Still getting to grips with the new layout but have used goodreads for a log time and always enjoyed it. It's a great way to connect with other people who enjoy the same genres. Use it mainly for keeping track of how much I'm reading but there are so many features there is something there for everyone.

I won a copy through a Goodreads giveaway. I read the synopsis and thought I would enjoy it. while it was definitely and adventure and gave you good feelings. the message that true friendship is worth it and when you work together you can accomplish anything is truly wonderful for younger readers. it just didn't seem complete and some parts jumbled for me.
