Excellent all round
I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading reports that over 100 people walked out of the cinema at the movie’s premiere screening... The film is not for the squeamish but I felt the gruesome nature of the film was perfectly balanced by a gripping storyline, and excellent performances, especially from Matt Dillon. I was totally engaged all through the movie, and felt it was a perfect example of how a movie should be made.

Original, gruesome and fun!
Director Sam Raimi returns to his horror roots with this awesome flick about a female bank loan officer who has to show some backbone to get promoted and pisses off the wrong old lady.
Without saying too much, you will never predict where the film goes and the unusual circumstances the protagonist heroine finds herself in.
I was skeptical, but this movie rocks.
Please check it out.!

Wow. Let me start by saying that there is definitely reason enough for this book to come with warning labels, such as ⚠ graphic scenes, extreme violence, descriptive sexual assault ⚠
However, I am not easily traumatized, so I read on, even though I'd been told by several readers how gruesome it is. They were not wrong. Pretty Girls is without a doubt the most gruesome book I've ever read. That aside, all-in-all, I loved it. It certainly kept me on my toes, had my heart pounding, halted my breathing once or twice. The only reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars is because, every now and then, I felt myself go almost numb. Not bored, oh no, but in a trance-like state where I'd still be reading, but I couldn't absorb the words, causing me to go back a page or so. It was definitely overload. There was also one particular event that, if I'm honest, kind of irritated me with it's simplicity. Overall, however, I enjoyed the thrill!

One for Ring fans
Well been wanting to see this for a while as the first film was really good. This definitely feels like a low budget follow up which is a shame, but the cast is quite recognisable from other shows. It's more thriller than a horror with no scary or gruesome moments. Bit surprised at the bad reviews, if you like the other films you'll probably find this ok.

The only book to give me a nightmare
In nearly 30 years of being an avid reader, this is the only book to have ever given me a nightmare. I woke up terrified multiple nights in a row while reading this book. The details described are gruesome and difficult to read without experiencing the horrors described within the pages.
This book is especially terrifying for anyone who is a parent. Even more so for those with small children.

Fantastic stories and Hosts!!
Love this podcast! Love that it's hosted by women! Love the Hosts, they're funny, personable, and they make these stories interesting so that even the most gruesome are told with such enthusiasm and creativity that cringing us kept to a minimum. I loved every second of the podcast. By the end of season 1 I was ready to donate! I wish these wonderful women and their loved ones nothing but success! Thank you for the stories ladies!
