The world's guilty pleasure
This show is the one that everyone likes, but few people, especially guys, will admit they like. The show centers around half brothers, one is the good guy raised by his mom, and the other guy is a douche bag. They of course get into this sort of rivalry when the good brother joins the school basketball team. It's a fun show, and easy to get into. Check it out!

Ghosts of Sugar Land (2019)
2019 | Documentary
I came across this short film on Netflix and decided to watch it because it was about Sugar Land. It featured a group of Muslim friends, and a dude that became Muslim and ended up radicalized.
My favorite part about the whole short film was that the guys being interview all wore hilarious Halloween masks to hide their identity because of the nature of the documentary. It also shows an interesting dichotomy between modern, 1st generation American Muslims and traditional Muslims.

Disney even like to make the bad guy good! Lol (0 more)
Dark Disney?

really enjoyed this live action remake of sleeping beauty, AJ is perfectly cast as Maleficent and the rest of the cast are spot on too, the story is strong enough to carry through and keep you engaged. My only issue is that Disney can't even let a bad guy be completely bad, its like they all need a redeeming feature, bring back the evil bad guys! Lol

"He's one of the blues guys in Mali. Not everyone knows him but one of his tracks ['BèrèBèrè'] was on [the movie] Black Panther, with Ali Farka Touré. I've had this record seven years now and I still listen to it. It's one of those records you don't get bored of. His sound is different to Salif [Keita], to all the male artists in Mali. There's something very different in his style. He's quite modern but at the same time, traditional."

"That’s a movie that was really, really funny. It’s about grownups. It’s about grownups having grownup problems. There’s no bad guys in it. It’s really funny and really moving and really complicated and messy. Honestly, when we were writing The Big Sick, that was a movie that we used as a reference point, to be like, “If we can try and make a movie that’s similar to Broadcast News in tone, then at least we’re trying to the right kind of thing.”"

2.5 stars.

This wasn't really, in my opinion, a romance. I don't know. There was so much going on. Lies, abuse, killings... typical pirates, I guess, but I struggled to get into it. I didn't understand the allure of the captain, really, but he managed to get two guys wanting him and having him. I was intrigued by the story but I didn't entirely get it. What was with the heart thing?

I dont think I'll be reading the rest of the series.

I love this series!

Dex and Sloane... *sigh* The way their relationship is progressing so sweetly in each book. I'm so happy for them. The banter and, well, everything! It's brilliantly written

The relationships between two other partners is driving me a little mad too. Ash and Cael and Hobbs and Calvin. What's going on with you guys?!

I've gone and bought book 4 but I think I'm going to change it up a little first and read something else.

"I got on their train early and I’m just a really big fan of them. What’s cool is they’re a fan of Workaholics. They just did a cameo on Workaholics last week, which is cool to have some of my favorite rock stars to be like, ‘These guys are the shit.’ [People think this is one of their first albums] from all the commercials for the Brothers album, but you’re like, ‘Nah man, they have 10 albums.’ They’re still doing it big."

"While working in story on an early version of Wall-E, I boarded a sequence featuring a chase through a cityscape. Andrew Stanton, the film’s director, called me on it: “This is so Third Man!” He had a big smile on his face, and why wouldn’t he? I’ve learned where to find tough guys who cast long shadows. And I’ve also learned where to milk a character reveal: Carol Reed plus Anton Karas plus Robert Krasker equals Harry Lime, and cinematic perfection"
