"This is relatively new but I read it when it came out and I'm currently watching the HBO series which is creepy and great. And honestly you could stick any Stephen King book in here and I'd probably be happy? It's not news that he's a master storyteller and so good at what he does. Although I do wish he'd tweet less, damn."

"I feel the performances are great and I love how it’s funny, it’s dramatic, but it’s also really, really honest. There’s some beautifully tender moments because it has that honesty. It was amazing to watch when I was younger. It’s amazing to watch now. Whenever that’s on HBO, I can’t not watch it. I just love the film. I love the film."

Slow and Go that is the tempo
This new take on the Michael Crichton novel rings the HBO show to a better futuristic reality that the old movie. There's drama and romance and all the stuff you would expect in a western themes virtual world to go out and play in. Some twists and turns along the way. I enjoyed watching the first season but it had some slow spots.

"I’m going to go with The Godfather. It’s weird — I didn’t see The Godfather in theaters. I actually saw it on television. I think when I was a little kid, they ran it in a series. It was on over three or four days on television. I remember just being immediately sucked in, and I was a young kid. My mom was actually amazed that I was just so sucked in. I kept asking her all these questions about the film that she had no answer for, and didn’t really care to sit down and watch it, and couldn’t answer the questions, but I was just so curious and I just loved all the drama of it, you know? And it still, it holds up. My wife and I were just watching it on HBO — I think it was HBO — like last night or the night before. They play part one and part two together now. It’s like five hours of The Godfather."

Upon my first introduction to the show, I was not impressed. The story in the first two episodes moved rather slow for my taste. Fast forward a couple months and I'm home sick for two days when HBO was gearing up for season four. I gave it another chance and never looked back! This show will thrill, chill, and, sometimes, kill you! It provides more action than many blockbuster movies and has a terrific storyline that will leave you anxious for Sundays and dreading the long break between seasons.

Interesting
A very good cast star in this Hbo look at porn and prostitution in 70's New York. There are many aspects this covers from characters involved in organised crime, law enforcement, film, and the area of New York it's set in. In a way this is good and bad. There are too many characters and by the end of the series it's hard to see what the overall aim was. Other than a little snippet of the lives of the characters at that time. Overall though it was a decent series.

If you currently have an HBO subscription then you need to add this to your watch list right away. It's not one of Mel Brooks bigger title films, but it should be as it's just as witty and funny. A remake of a 1940s film, it stays true to the classic with a touch of Brooks. A polish theater troupe in Warsaw use their love of the stage to fool the nazis and escape the ghetto. It's a farce in the truest form, and when this movie makes you laugh, you will be rolling.

HBO unlocked some content during this whole, dramatic time. I was glad they unlocked some documentaries. I've been wanting to watch this documentary, because I haven't gotten to see much on this case.
I liked that they showed the whole relationship, and not just the texts that hit the prosecution's theory of the crime. I think both of these people equally needed help, and were equal to blame. They both needed to be locked up in psych wards. She definitely failed to call 911, but the dude had jerked her around so much, how was she supposed to know that the threat was legit?
Anyway, I'm glad I got to see it.... for free.

"In the ’90s and 2000s, HBO Docs and HBO Films were making some of the most incredible documentaries ever. Even while these weren’t being released in theaters, docs were having this crazy renaissance. I have no idea who was in charge or what was happening, but every month there would be some insane, amazing documentary coming out. This one is disturbing. They’re all disturbing, but in a way I find interesting. Maybe because that can make you feel better… I don’t know, but I am interested in this. I really like the backdrop, which is mid- to late-’90s small-town rave culture. This dad has an 18-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter who are in the rave scene. He’s a preacher, a normal guy, married, has two kids. One day, for whatever reason, he’s like, “Fuck the life I built, I am going to go to the rave with my kids.” He takes ecstasy and becomes their peer: a gnarly, insane raver. He leaves his wife, he gets an apartment with his son, he’s taking ecstasy every night. It’s also funny and obviously more fucked up because it’s real. What I love about documentaries is that Hollywood would take that movie and turn it into a broad comedy and it would be, “Dad parties with his kids!” But to me it’s a drama, it gets into the complexities of what drives someone to do this, how it feels for their kids and for their ex-wife, what experiences led him to break."

Game of Thrones Series - Song of Ice and Fire
Great series! I read them all and want more!! Even with the TV show by HBO surpassing the whole series of novels, the books are great! I love the series and this is by far my second try at Fantasy. After Lord of the Rings series I wanted to try these since the Show was so awesome. The books help with the storylines especially knowing who's who in the game of thrones that they play. With the books you are able to understand the characters background and their back stories. I highly recommend the Game of Thrones for more "meat" on thee bones!
