Rolling Stone's 228th greatest album of all time
Decent early rap album. Very heavy on the scratching and sampling, to its credit. Typical themes of earning money and getting paid (preferably in full) make it a dull album lyrically.

I loved the characters, and their interactions with one another. This was at times a pretty heavy book that took an emotional toll, but also had moments of hilarity where you realize these really are just kids. (0 more)

These ladies do a great job telling these stories and keeping it light when the stories get heavy and dark. They are also amazing advocates for the victims and try to spread awareness so families can receive closure.

There were certain parts of this book I could highly identify with, because I shared the feelings Don had - but so much of it was repetitive and by the end of the book I found myself doing some heavy skimming.

"Heavy tweeds, craven pot smoking, paranoia, and Wellingtons, set in the mucky English countryside. It established my Anglophilia at age fifteen; I memorized Hamlet’s soliloquy by multiple rewindings of the final scene; and I still have a major crush on Paul McGann."
