What the hell did I just watch...well at least it had Idris Elba
The Dark Tower is a really amazing book... I have no idea what the hell they did with this movie there was no character development and it felt like they through you into a movie that had already started so I felt like I was playing catch up most of the time and I've read the first three books in the series.
But hey it had Idris Elba and I could watch the man stand around and do nothing so 3 stars or rather bombs it is.

Descriptions of Hell

In the second book, Bobby has the wonderful idea of jailbreaking his demonic girlfriend out of Hell trying to free her from the grasp of Grand Duke Eligor's grasp.
This book never fails to make me cry--and not for the reasons you think. There is plenty of torture, trauma, even rape--he is going to actual Hell after all-- which makes the interludes on why he is doing what he's doing refreshing even if they make me blush.
I admit my imagination fails me after a while with this book and while he does cheat on some of the torture it is still quite graphic, having both sex scenes (also in the non rape variety) and torture scenes. It is actually how Bobby himself slowly changes that is the most chilling as he adjusts to slowly losing himself in his new environment.
This book will make you think and may even challenge some of your views.

Oh my giddy aunt. This book was amazing! I was so shocked by the ending but it was perfect in another way. Not sure about the lack of info around what happened (don't want to give spoilers) but bloody hell. 10/10 would recommend.

This volume focuses on a showdown between Natasha, and the daughter of the headmistress of the Red Room. Recluse was hell-bent on beating Natasha, but, well... She's no match for Natasha. I wish they would have continued on with Black Widow after this volume.

Oh HELL no!
****SPOILERS BELOW****
This book killed off 2 of my favorite characters! B'Elanna Torres and her daughter! Seriously??? There had best be some follow-up in a later book that checks in with Tom Paris!
I am NOT a happy camper right now!
