[Rebirth] by[Debbie Brown] began with a quick pace that made it difficult for me to put down. The characters were authentic and you fell right in with their plight. The statement that was made about the youth being our hope could not have rung more true.

I would have liked to see more development and I am hoping she continues this story line. It had the potential to be wide read YA fiction given the current climate of the genre.

I have to try and find a paper version of this so I may add it to my classroom library.

This was so good! I loved all the characters and how everyone tied to everyone else. I did not see who the killer was until the very end and that's one thing I love about stories about this, when they surprise me. I loved that Jules finally learned the truth about Nell and that she would have protected her if she knew and maybe things could have been different between them. I hope that her and Lena being together will help each other grow and heal. I can't wait for the next book by Paula Hawkins!!

A nice close to the Rogue series, if, and I hate be redundant, a bit unoriginal. The characters were nice, there were some funny moments, and the plot was good, but it didn't touch me like other romances do. However, I did like the whole Christmas thing at the end, it was cute if rather saccharine.

One of my main problems was that this series must have the worst editors. In all four books there are missing quotation marks, sentences that aren't clear, and misspelled/or forgotten words. I would hope that these would be minimal.

Great Read
This was a wonderful book. Emilie has epilepsy, and throughout the book she has to find courage within herself to do every day things. She isn't sure how to relate to her peers, and she doesn't care about leaving her comfort zone. I loved the amount of character development in this book. Emilie's point of view changes as she experiences thing she was previously to afraid to try. The theme of the book, like the title suggests, is hope. It is conveyed really well, and the end will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.

Holly Black is amazing
This book follows the story of Jude a mortal girl who was raised in the world of the fae. Jude is a morally grey character. This makes the story more interesting because her actions are not easy to predict. It was a nice change from the typical YA hero who always does what is right. My one complaint is that the book did start off a little slow, but by the end I couldn't put it down. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, and I hope they don't disappoint.

Not what I expected
Haunting in Hill House, when my daughter recommended this, I admit, the first episode made me almost not wanting to watch another, but I did. And I'm so glad I did. I had both tears and a need for a nightlight while watching this. The only thing that kind of was meh, was some of the secondary actors. The main characters were a nice cast in my opinion, but their husbands and wives, eh they were ok. I really hope there's a second season.

More of what we've already seen
The first Hotel Transylvania was actually fairly good, but it's a shame that both of the sequels have been poorer carbon copies. This third film especially is just more of the same; silly dance offs and music and a predictable and poor plot which isn't even funny. There are a lot of animated films that have humour for both kids and adults, but sadly this film isn't one of them. I'm sure the kids love it, but I really hope this is the last Hotel Transylvania film we'll ever see.

This novel is the 2nd in the 'Lock In' series, though you could have read it without reading the first and not get too lost. This novel picks up a year after the last novel. Chris is at a Hilketa game, which is a sport where Threeps get their heads ripped off, and witnesses a player's death. Chris and his partner, Vann, get involved immediately and work the case on his death. Like the first, it's a police procedural with the smattering of sci-fi. I really enjoyed this one, and hope there's a next book.
