What's more terrifying...
What you can't see,
Or what you can't remember?

Since her divorce, Kendall Madison has been in over her head. Between trying to make ends meet, raising three kids, and hunting ghosts,
Kendall just can't seem to find balance in her life. When she finally lands a job right up her alley, she hopes it’s a sign for better things ...

Brilliant!! So many books write their female leads to be hot single women this was so refreshing to have a female lead with a normal life, the daily struggles as a parent, then she kicks ass in the supernatural world too. It was so well written and such an enjoyable read. I'm definitely rooting for Malcolm in this one and can't wait to discover more now Kendall has her memories back!

The Aeronauts (2019)
The Aeronauts (2019)
2019 | Adventure, Drama
1860's period action/drama piece, starring Eddie Redmayne (I still associate him more with Newt Scaramander) and Felicity Jones (who I still associate more with Rogue One), told pretty much in 'real-time' and charting an attempt by a Royal Society meteorologist James Glaisher to ascent in a hot air balloon to study the weather in a period when nobody believed this was possible, and when the sky was still largely unknown

That much is fact.

The character of Amelia Wren, however? Completely made up - I only discovered this afterwards, when I read a bit more into it!

Predictably light-weight, and released (early?) on Amazon Prime - due to the current global pandemic - I'm happy enough to have seen this one, but am also happier that I didn't have to pay to do so in the cinema!

I wasn't a fan of hot fuzz but like shawn if the dead so thought I'd give this a go.
It starts with a flash back story of 5 lads who attempted but failed a pub crawl of every pub in newton haven, forward to the lads being middle aged and deciding to go back and attempt it again in the hope to complete it. Sounds straight forward right? Wrong!! It seems newton haven has been taken over by robots (just don't call them robots) and it's a fight between them and finishing the pub crawl.
It isn't a terrible movie and it is funny in places, but it does has it's fair share of "wtf" moments, especially towards the end and for me personally i thought it dragged on a bit. Worth the one watch but not sure I'd watch it again.

Rolling Stone's 495th greatest album of all time
This is only album number 6 on my trek towards listening to all 500 of Rolling Stone's greatest albums. Already I am wishing I had opted for the NME's top 500 instead, as this really isn't my bag. But the main reason I am doing this is to find hidden gems I had never heard before, which is more likely to happen listening to RS than NME.
The album title was one that stuck in my head because it really made me start to think about giving it up, coming hot on the heels of Boz Scagg's album. The 10 song mix of country and jazz really seemed to take forever to pass. There were some more bluesy songs that were listenable, but the majority not to my tastes at all.
