I'm a huge Emma Roberts fan so I was very excited to see this movie.
The premise of the game that is at the center of the movie is such a unique concept. It really takes the idea of social media to a new level and its something that I could totally see existing one day.
The main character is a shy, reserved character so the entire movie is out of character for her.
There is the perfect amount of action, drama and humor that kept me interested from beginning to end.
The appearance of Machine Gun Kelly will be entertaining for fans of his and he does quite a good job in the movie.
Definitely would recommend.

humor is spot on (1 more)
great cast
I really liked this movie! I was surprised at first. I'm not a Lego fan and I didn't understand how they could make it into a movie but I am so glad I gave it a chance. It is the right mix of adventure and comedy, something unique when you're thinking about a kid's movie.
My kids loved the main character and ran around singing the "Everything is Awesome" song for weeks after and I couldn't even be annoyed because that song is freaking catchy!
I would call this movie a must watch for parents of kids from about preschool age and up. Any younger and they won't really be drawn into it.

AT (1676 KP) rated Nabari No Ou - Book 1 in Books
Aug 27, 2018
Nabari No Ou is a manga series about a middle school-aged boy that finds out that he holds a very sought-after secret power of a hidden ninja realm. While the book does contain some bloody and violent scenes, it also provides a look at school life, and plenty of humor. It's serious with a humorous overtone. The art is cute, and the book is pretty quick to read. However, you'll want to spend a little time studying the action in some of the drawings so that you don't miss what's going on. I wasn't sure what to expect from this manga, but I've been pleasantly surprised! It's definitely worth a read.

I didn't go into this expecting much
This movie was pleasantly surprising. In a world of continual reboots and retreads, it was a nice change of pace. The fact that the movie explored an entirely different aspect of the Jumanji game from the first movie was welcome.
The script was top notch. Each main character was well established and had good development throughout the movie. The humor is well balanced and the actors clearly gelled together well.
Was simultaneously upset and pleased by the fact that the trailers for the movie (to my recollection) made any effort to showcase Bobby Cannavale, who is in my opinion, by far the most skilled actor in the movie.
