Zuky the BookBum (15 KP) rated Othello in Books
Mar 15, 2018
One of the best Shakespeare pieces I've been made to read. But overall just a bit humorous, I suppose that goes for much of Shakespeare's work really.
Othello spirals into a madness from which he never returns, due to a handkerchief... Yep.
Iago, you sneaky bastard.

Oct 7, 2020
This truly delightful tale investigates friendship and loneliness from the humorous perspective of an 81-year-old man, recuperating from his accident with a milk float. Read my revised review of this lovely novel here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/06/09/the-12-days-of-kelly-christmas/

Erika (17789 KP) rated The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in Books
Jul 29, 2017
This book was given to me one of my last days of college, my friends told me to read it because I reminded them of a character in it. I finished it in one sitting, and have now read it multiple times. It's humorous and a quick, short read.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Redshirts in Books
May 14, 2018
This book is a semi-humorous science-fiction novel that takes place in a Star Trek-esque universe. Of course, everyone knows that red shirts always bite the dust, and these characters want to figure out why.
To avoid spoilers, all I'm going to say that it's meta.

Val (0 KP) rated Skulduggery Pleasant in Books
Sep 20, 2018 (Updated Sep 20, 2018)
Read this book when I was younger and reread this year and it hasn't lost any of the things that gripped me. It's entertaining, passionate and feisty. Plus, who doesn't love a talking skeleton detective?
