Sassy Brit (97 KP) rated Happy Death Day 2U (2019) in Movies
Jun 27, 2019
It carries on from the first film and links in nicely! You must see the first to appreciate sone of the humour in this dark, but hilarious time- travelling comedy! (1 more)
Quite sad in places too- there’s a real story behind the humour. A dilemma the main protagonist must face when she realises she can get exactly what she wants when she is in control of her destiny!
A time travelling theme with a moral dilemma!
Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Dead In A Week (Or Your Money Back) (2018) in Movies
Nov 1, 2021 (Updated Nov 3, 2021)
The pure brilliance of Dead in a Week is the film never really takes the idea of an assassin being paid to kill their client too seriously and the dark humour isn’t an all-out laugh-fest, but it works on the darker side of humour.
As things go along Leslie’s attempts on William become a little harder than he first thought and he starts to doubt himself in his profession and even worse his boss, Christopher Eccleston, is also considering that it’s time that Leslie retires from the only life he knows!

Loved this book from start to finish. You cannot help but feel sorry for its main character, a likeable chap who cant seem to catch a break.
Jimmyjames (6 KP) rated Get Out (2017) in Movies
Jul 12, 2017
Poor boring and distinct lack of humour that is implied with the title. Too many chapters revolve around the author and 'facts' that are completely dull and uninteresting that I found myself quickly flicking through to the next section.

This was real and so messed up and the film delivered it with humour and vision. Utterly brilliant.
