"He identified in a way that was so joyously American; an innocence and a humanism. Just a beautiful heart, that he had, and was able to put into his work. Adding screwball comedy elements to it, but at the center of which were these important thoughts about how lucky we are to be alive. He was able to do that in ways that are cinematic and entertaining as well. And eliciting these performances — like Jimmy Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939, 96%) and Gary Cooper in Meet John Doe (1941, 92%), Cary Grant and everybody else involved in Arsenic and Old Lace (1944, 90%)…"

"The films that really changed my life were all the films made by Charlie Chaplin. Films like The Gold Rush. They were silent films, they were black and white. As a kid, I would just completely get mesmerized with every aspect of cinema. That kind of magic I’d never yet seen, the magic Charlie Chaplin created on screen — in terms of performances, in terms of technique, in terms of innocence, in terms of purity. I would wonder, “Is there anyone in the world who can match this?” I would see other films, and I’d think, “No, this guy is a real genius.” He makes me smile. And sometimes he moves me."

Three parents try to stop their daughters from having sex on Prom night.

They're not for looking at, they're for using.

This film was everything I hoped for. Hilarious nonsense that really made me thank god that my parents aren't that crazy... although I probably shouldn't tempt fate like that.

Leslie Mann is wonderful, I loved her in The Other Woman, and I love her in this. There's some innocence around the characters she plays and it's just so funny.

It's not going to win any awards, but it is a great light-hearted film that will have you smiling, laughing, and cringing in equal measure.

Alley Boy is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Not too long ago, he released a melodic rap tune, entitled, “Rewind”, featuring trap-Godfather Future.

‘Rewind’ is a reminiscing tune which finds Future taking listeners down memory lane to the long last days of his innocence. Also, the likable tune finds Alley Boy rapping about his successes and failures.

‘Rewind’ contains conversational rap vocals, harmonious melodies, and melodic instrumentation flavored with trap and hip-hop elements.

Alley Boy, a former Atlantic Records’ standout, has been pretty busy this year.

His “Alley God” project is still going strong thanks to assists from 21 Savage and production from Mike WiLL, Fritz, & more.

Reminiscent of FLASH, Innocence Tainted is about Dr. Oralia, who wakes from a coma after being struck by lightening only to find she has gained supernatural powers. I highly enjoyed this story. It was easy to like Oralia, especially with the main theme of the book being self-discovery/transformation. Her traumatic past was what I emphasized with the most, and I love that this part of who she is wasn't overdone. She is strong and vulnerable, decisive and thoughtful. I love how empowering she is as not only as a heroic figure, but as a black woman. Stories like this are so needed in the world!
