"Somebody's elder brother had it, I remember it was on Pye Records, and my God, that insane guitar started it all for me. But I have to be careful about sharing my tastes in music because it comes back to haunt you. I said once that I liked Van der Graaf Generator andbefore I knew it I was accused of ripping them off. Perhaps it's safer to state that I like Steeleye Span. Mind you, I shared an Irish coffee with them in Vienna once and left them with the bill, so maybe not."

A Strikingly Thrilling, Insane Ride of a Story
James Gunn does a wonderful job of capturing the charm from his "Guardian of the Galaxy" movies and gives the squad it's own feel (something the original dreadfully failed to do) and tells a story that feels true to the medium. Great job. Casting is spot on and well balanced amongst team members. Kudos to whomever kept the WB executives away from this one preventing them from screwing it up. Go see in the Theater!!!

"When I’m thinking about what draws me to some of these films, it’s really my love of watching great characters experiencing some kind of break with reality. And this movie illustrates that. First of all, I love the idea of someone trying to sell their first-born child to the devil for an acting part. Insane! And then the character of Rosemary, embodied beautifully by Mia Farrow, is so compelling. You see how a woman can lose herself in the process of protecting her child. It feels accurate to the experience of being pregnant."

"When I was a teen, like for many of my generation, Monty Python were my comic heroes. But as brilliantly directed as the Python films are (look close at Monty Python and the Holy Grail—there are a lot of incredibly shot sequences), nothing prepared my for the amazing mix of humor, heart, and insane inventiveness that Terry Gilliam brought to his solo work. These two titles are films I bring up constantly in meetings in Hollywood—which usually leads to me being asked to leave. But I don’t care."

Clash of cultures within one civilisation
A fascinating look into how Russia has essentially used contemporary and western culture to reconstruct the same Soviet system. It's not so much an evolution but adaptation to bolster their former glory.

Peter Pomerantsev is a veteran reporter for Russia, and his tongue and cheek yet informative look into the country is engaging, concerning and at times just plain insane.

The book itself meanders through a variety of topics, mostly based on the writer's experiences of working on various television programmes for state sponsored networks, therefore doesn't strictly stick to the nitty gritty political system.

I have been a follower of all things from the Angry Ginger for a long time. Since his days with TLPS, I have been listening to him spew his brand of comedy. Though the co-host will change from time to time, Jason The Angry Ginger remains the same.

Add to all of this, the fact that each fall the perform insane marathon-length podcasting and you have something truly amazing.

Just watch it. It's an unnerving watch when you realise you keep needing to remember it was real and it happened. The world could have been a very different place indeed. The casting was phenomenal and the emotion driven through the series felt so real. When looking at archive pieces of film, attention to detail is spot on. The helicopter scene - Just insane. Such a touching and completely non glamourised memoriam to all who died and who helped prevent further nuclear disaster. I did start to think after just what other sorts of secrets could a goverment keep??!

I loved this game from the second it was announced because the concept really appealed to me. I wasnt disappointed. The honour of the conversation options left me chuckling to myself (especially if you choose a "dumb" charachter) and the storyline kept my interest. The combat was fairly simple and even on 'hard' it was manageable. I would go as far as to say that hard was equivalent to normal mode on most games.
Survival mode is practically insane but really good fun - apart from not being able to fast travel- walking is helped by choosing the speed boost on your perks though.

Great writing, from story, to characters, to lore. (1 more)
It's beautiful, and atmospheric with great music.
At time of playing (launch, before any updates) there's a few clunky things: like constantly drawing your weapon when you don't mean to. (1 more)
I had one instance where entering a room in the final mission kept completely crashing my game, and I had to parkour my way around to overcome this. Hopefully this is patched out soon!
Saved the Single Player
I loved this game. I imagine I'll be playing it for many years to come, and I'm hoping desperately for a sequel! I've been missing single player RPGs desperately lately, with studios like BioWare leaving them behind.

This game really scratched that itch for me. It's got great characters, great gameplay and a great story. It's just great. I can't recommend it enough.

Obviously it has some kinks to be worked out, but I was very easily able to overlook them when playing.
I am a little disappointed that some features were left out, like third person view and romances, but hope that these could be implemented into a sequel. Either way, I still enjoyed playing.

"There’s just so much on this: It’s a double album and by the time you finish it—if you can finish it—you can’t remember what you heard at the beginning. I liked that,” he said of Beefheart. “It was anti-music in the most interesting and insane way, like kids learning to play violin—which I was going through at the time. So all the bum notes I was being told off for by the teachers were finally being released by well-known artists. “That was my confirmation. From then on, there was room for everything"
