Excellent
This movie was very intense-emotionally speaking. The acting was spot on and the cinematography was great. If you're into military stories about what soldiers go through between home life and combat life you'll love this one. A great story about an American hero dealing with both. Sadly it ends in truly tragic way. REALLY worth a watch.

If the cover doesn't set your world ablaze, the story certainly will.
Girls Burn Brighter is tragic and beautiful, a nearly snapped thread of tension. I like intense books like this.
Poornima and Savitha live deeply in poverty, doing whatever they can to survive. Steeped in love, friendships, loss, and, ultimately, survival, it was so hard to put down.

Harrowing yet perfect
Without spoilers it is hard to review really but this novel is one of the best narratives I have ever read. The apocalyptic premise is more intense than many available and the idea behind it is just horrific enough to stay with me since I first read it. The characters are well rounded and built to become emotional ties to the reader and the novel although apocalyptic is filled with hope of a brighter future. I understand it to be a young person's novel however I feel that in many cases the depth may be lost on the young and the premise may be a little intense but I have recommended it to everyone I know and will continue to do so.

The street scene (1 more)
Good Sfx
A good continuation
A very good follow up film continuing straight on from the events of the first film.
We get a glimpse at Day 1 which had my interest from the trailer and is a great scene. There are some other good set pieces which are done well with a bigger budget.
It is pretty much more of the same although a little less intense as the first film due to a bigger setting, cast and details discovered in the first film. It does have a slight feel of a middle film with a 3rd entry confirmed. The ending does come a little bit abruptly.
However if you enjoyed the first, pretty much everyone, then you will enjoy this part of the story.

a short book, but an intense one.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
A short book, but an intense one.
Roderick kidnaps Alex, after a bit of road rage, but then lets him go, leaving notes for him to follow, or leave. Alex chooses to follow and there follows a bit of an awakening for them both.
Roderick had never done anything like this before, but the attraction he has to Alex is powerful and brings out a NEED in him that Roderick needs to satisfy. When Alex leaves in the morning, Roderick then follows Alex, to try to see if there could be more than this one-night stand.
I liked that it's intense between them, straight away. The attraction packs a powerful punch to Alex, as well as Roderick and in a way they didn't see coming.
Both Roderick and Alex have a say, but I thought Alex had the majority voice, indeed, I did not think Roderick would get a voice at first.
It's well written, and well delivered. I found it a smexy way to pass an hour. It just didn't blow me away.
3 good solid stars

combines a gripping narrative with intense action that blends both fast-paced combat with slower-paced, tense stealth sections perfectly. Everything about their vision for this game clicks into place and is accentuated by a stellar presentation.

I'm not a huge gamer but know enough to have been able to follow this. I went in really not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! This was an intense movie with a lot of 80s and (obviously) video game references, likable characters, and a nice blend of animation/CGI and real life. Now I've got to get the book!
