High expectations, slow burn.
The first 2 episodes of this series were a lot slower than some had expected, but that is pretty normal to my mind.
The series really hit its stride in the third episode onwards: we saw some epic battle scenes and some good old political intrigue and back-stabbing.

As usual Steve Berry does not disappoint. Cotton Malone, Cassiopeia Vitt, & Stephanie Nelle are 3 of my favorite characters. And happily, this book was no exception. It had all the history, intrigue, murder, & mayhem you come to expect from Cotton & Berry. No matter how many books I read with this combination they never get old.

A strong cast of newer actors lead this reasonably entertaining heist movie that starts off very well and a good element of intrigue, however the more complex it tries to become the more plot holes start to creep in and runs out of steam well before the end credits, shame as it had potential.

This has a lot of action.. intrigue.. and fun exciting characters. the story is fun.. the characters keep you on your feet and entertained. you never know whats next and then when you find out you are like.. ahhhh i get it now lol. very good story and im glad i got to review it
