I grew up with Pokemon, so I have really enjoyed its comeback in recent years. This movie was a fun new addition to the world. After seeing this I once again wish pokemon were real so I could have a snorlax. Overall its a great bit of nostalgia that I think a new generation of kids will enjoy.

If your after a new release recomendation for this week I cant recomend Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles highly enough. Not only does it look really nice the action, humour and character portrayals are spot on too. Its also dark enough for adults and fun enough for kids making it one totally bodacious cross over dude.

This one was cute. I know my kids would enjoy it, I just didn't get around to reading it to them yet. The characters were sweet and I enjoyed the problems that Ricky had. He got through it though and came out amazing. Very cute story

This is an amazingly cute story about the meaning of Christmas. I truly enjoyed reading it aloud to my kids, (ages 9, 7, and 4) and they all enjoyed the story. I loved following along with Georgie as he picked out the tree with his dad. A truly touching story, perfect for all families at Christmas.

Westfield continues the journey of Max, Mandy, Chad, Georgia, and the kids. They encounter people who aren't the nicest and keep fighting to survive. Meanwhile Max's brother John and Cynthia learn more about themselves and trust both good and bad. It was a fast paced book and the ending left me hanging so the next one is in queue.

Not as intricate as Elizabeth George Speare's better known books, but this tale of Matt's coming of age in the frontier days of Maine is still a great read. Not to be missed by kids and adults alike.

Bruce is a bully bear who is taught a lesson. Well, except he doesn't learn it, and that's my problem with the book. Unless maybe the point is to teach kids that some people never change.

This picture book follows a nice dragon as he gets separated from his family and eventually finds a great life for himself. It's a bit slow, at least for adults, but kids should still really enjoy it.

Life is hard for Clyde, the horse of a brave knight. But when the time comes, will he show true courage? This is a predictable but extremely fun picture book that kids and their parents will enjoy.

Not your normal ABC book, this one uses Dr. Seuss's creativity for something you haven't seen anywhere else before. Great for parents who are tired of A is for Apple and fun for kids.
