JURASSIC PARK (the good one)
Back in 1993 Steven Spielberg breathed life into everybody's childhood obsession with dinosaurs with ground breaking CGI during its release which still holds up today.

Jurassic park is story of a mans dream to bring back the Jurassic age on an (presumably) uninhabited island. After inviting his grandchildren, Dr alan Grant an archaeologist, ellie satler another archaeologist and ian malcolm who's just along for the ride to witness this ground-breaking creation, they quickly become endangered when the parks security parameters fail and they have to outrun and out smart their way to safety with a dinosaur at every turn, and a kitchen scene you'll never forget (that's right, kitchen!)

Great concept
The whole concept of Ant Man is fantastic, I really enjoy the story and the graphics. It's very imaginative. I'd love to know more on how this would be filmed particularly the kitchen scene for example. I like that real references and places are used to explain the scale.

2015 | Action
Brilliantly executed backstory of the devil of Hell's Kitchen and his battle with the kingpin (before he becomes the kingpin). Matt Murdoch splits his life between his up and coming legal practice and fighting crime on the streets of New York city.
Well written, acted and directed, this is very stylish yet gritty and engaging throughout.

"The night the cooks look forward to most each year at Chez Panisse (and perhaps diners, too), is Parsi New Year, when Niloufer Ichaporia King takes the helm of the kitchen. Parsi cooking is exquisite, existing at the intersection of Indian and Persian, and I can never get enough of Niloufer’s recipes (I adore her Parsi deviled eggs)."

Barracuda (2017)
2017 | Drama, Music, Thriller
This narrative tension, not-so-subtly conveyed at one point by the prolonged imagery of an array of knives hanging on a kitchen wall, sustains your interest in Barracuda, even when the screenplay goes off the rails a bit in the shaky third act

Didn't much like the musical scenes but the suspense factor was really good. Both characters played excellent roles.

"Bottle Rocket remains my favorite Wes Anderson movie—and I love all of his movies. Dignan was a character I felt I knew from my life but had never seen in a movie, much less as the lead of a movie. “How did an asshole like Bob get such a nice kitchen?” is one of my favorite lines . . . and it’s offscreen."

You know what they say if you can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen…

This was my first time reading a book by Bethany Turner and I loved her sense of humor and style of writing. This story of two chefs learning to work together was filled with several ups and downs and great life lessons. The storyline reminded me of Iron Chef or Chopped

"The first one with Brandon Lee. The whole set — it was a really cool set — I liked the whole vibe of it with the martial arts. I was a Brandon Lee fan, and that was a fairly bad-ass movie. That whole Hell’s Kitchen vibe in New York — that whole realm just has this cool mystifying vibe. It looked like it would be a fun set."

Me: *Sobbing my broken heart out, reading through the blur of tears*

My dog: Oh no! My bestie is sad! Must remedy this immediately!

Me: Ack! *Sputters* No, Leroy, stop. Please. Get your tongue out my mouth and quit smothering my face!

My dog: Nope. Your eyes are still leaking. You need all the kisses.

Me: *Forced to perch on kitchen bench to finish and fall apart in peace*
