Good Comedy / Action film
A great over the top action comedy. So much action is packed into such a short film, it never lets up. There is a good chemistry between the leads and some witty dialogue, lots of exotic locations and great stunt scenes. There is enough to keep everyone happy. A mix of True Lies, Bond, and a Rom-com. A fun lighthearted enjoyable film that has something for everyone.

Oh Satan...You Devil!!!
Side-splitting, hysterical, lighthearted, sassy, and smexy read.
This has to be one of the top hilarious books from Ms. Peterman's.
Bad boy Satan wants his HEA, and being the Harbinger of Evil, he know just how to get get it. Of course, with a little help from his certifiable family.
A total must read to heat up this cold winter.
But recommend you read Fashionably Flawed First!!!

Great soundtrack
Oozing coolness
A very good film with several long car chase scenes. The editing is great, to combine the soundtrack with action on screen at the same time in sync. The tunes are good and the film has a cool vibe to it. Along with good talented cast this couldn't go wrong. It starts lighthearted but does get a bit violent towards the end. Race down to the cinema to catch it.

I’m totally unable to put my finger on it just yet but something about this really struck a chord with me.

And something else about Charis in particular. I’ll be thinking about her for a long while.
It is of course, well written.

CW for: abuse/child abuse/sexual abuse/sexul abuse of a child/suicide/abandonment
It is not a lighthearted story obviously, but neither is it without Light and hope and even humor- much like life.

Enjoyable lighthearted thriller
I only saw a brief trailer for this but it sounded like a decent thriller with its more comic moments. The plot is most like that of @Gone Girl (2014) but not as dark in content. I enjoyed it although the final act is quite busy but it draws to a good conclusion after plenty of twists and turns. The 2 female leads make the film good for me.

I was slightly nervous when I started reading this book as I adored the first one however I was slightly disappointed when I read the second one as I didn’t find it as good. But it was brilliant!! I was thrilled to find that it was as good as the first one.I love JoJo Moyes writing style, I find myself laughing out loud at Louisa’s funny thoughts. It was a enjoyable lighthearted easy read - I would recommend.

"Going a little more lighthearted, number three is the original Jumanji, which is so cheesy because I was in the remake, but that was always one of my favorite films of all time. It’s just pure nostalgia. I think I’m right in that age bracket where it’s like a classic to anyone who’s around my age, and anyone who’s outside of that, it doesn’t seem like it’s so much of a classic to them. Loved it."

Meryl Streep as usual is superb (0 more)
Always Hugh Grant (0 more)
Lighthearted at times, quite sad actually, but all a ball of fluff in the end
The story of Florence Foster Jenkins is ambivalent. On the one hand, it shows how money can buy anything, and the upper class privileges that allow anyone to get away with anything. At the same time, you feel sorry for FFJ because she's extremely ill, alone, and she sings terribly, because why the hell not? From being a piano prodigy to contracting syphilis on her wedding night by her ex-husband that destroyed her ability to play let alone hear the pitch of her own voice - so in the end you feel sympathy for her. After that, you witness the brilliant performance of Meryl Streep, who is actually a good singer in reality, having to sing in the most terrible tones possible. Hugh Grant, as per usual, is a sap because that's the only role he knows how to play. Overall, a bit of lighthearted fluff.

Fun and lighthearted
Whilst Nick Spalding will never win any literary prizes for this series of books, he really does well to sum up real life situations and emotions. The writing is good but what really makes this story entertaining is the characters. Laura and Jamie are a very relatable couple and their diary/blog entries are so down to earth and realistic. I doubt anyone could read this book (or any others in the series) and not find a handful of comments, thoughts or situations that they’ve experienced in their own life. This story is also pretty funny and I found myself laughing out loud on many occasions.

It may not be the most thought provoking or insightful of reads, but this is a great fun and lighthearted story that is refreshingly short - I finished it in less than 2 hours so it’s one you can easily get through. One I’d recommend trying if you’re stuck with a fairly long commute - I may leave books 3 and 4 for my next long distance train journey for work!

I held off on reading this for quite awhile, because I just didn't feel like I'd be into it. I watched Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, back whenever that was on TV. As silly and lighthearted as that was, I didn't think that it would work as a horror story. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a huge horror fan, but this has decent potential to work well as one. The story was written well, and I look forward to reading volume 2.

I think there are 3 more issues of Chilling Adventures, you can definitely find them digitally (my library has them on their digital catalog). If you like the horror comics, Archie Comics released Chilling Adventures in Sorcery, that collects vintage creepy/retro horror comics.
