The Logo Board Game
The Logo Board Game
2009 | Quiz / Trivia
If you are wanting a game to test your knowledge of different logos, this is not the game for you. This a trivia game that goes well into slogans, numbers, history, and so much more. We had a lot of fun playing it, however the kids found it much harder to play as they don't recognize a lot of the older brands. While this is labeled for ages 12 and up, adults will find it easier to answer several of the trivia questions, while the younger crowd struggles to make it thru a card.

Do the Right Thing (1989)

This was my first Spike Lee film. And while I struggled with this film, I really like him as a director. He has a great way of making the film seem so real and bold. I think that Do the Right Thing has a lot of very interesting things to say about the American Culture and makes a lot of good points, it was just very hard for me to relate to any of the characters in this film. I really appreciate the time and the effort that Spike put into this though.

"Well, in no particular order, and not to be sycophantic, number one would be INLAND EMPIRE, the last David Lynch movie. I saw it four times in the theater, at the IFC theater on Sixth Avenue in New York, and I loved it because it plays with a lot of narrative conventions but then disposes with them. It made of lot of more traditional filmmaking seem sort of adolescent to me. And I might be alone in my opinion, but I think it’s the best movie David Lynch has ever made."

"I love this movie and a lot of people that I talk to haven’t seen it. I love this movie so much, and I always find out that nobody that I ask has seen it, so I’ve actually shown that movie to a lot of people. It’s kind of a fun one where it just keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time and questioning what’s gonna happen next. I love movies like that. [Kevin] Spacey‘s definitely one of my favorite actors, so I’m sold with that to begin with."

For me this started off a little slow and I didn't really have any feelings regarding Kyle when he died. In fact the first time I cried in this was when Colton was talking about India. Then I bawled like a baby at the end because that was kinda heart-breaking.

They go through a lot of sh*t in this story, as the characters do in New Adult books, but I did like the main characters a lot, they were good people who had had a hard life and deserved a happy ending.

I've given it three stars because I wanted this to be a happier story, I wanted Sophie to end up happy, and I guess in a way she was but I love romances in books and this one wasn't exactly all roses and light.

I was in turmoil for a lot of this. How everyone treated her and why was just so unfair but she'd made a promise to him and got a lot of shit for it. She never broke it though, despite the heartache it caused. Poor Sophie.

Great game but it has problems
I love playing this game to the point I play it more than the physical MTG card game.
The cards look great and it's fairly easy to get packs without having to pay real money. It also has a good amount of events on every week to earn rewards.
The problem is that it crashes a lot and disconnects. Kind of fed up of it just disconnecting and then missing my turn loads. Sick of having to restart it.

I really enjoyed this novel. It was a quick and relatively easy read. It also explores a lot of different issues, and it did legitimately make me cry, which doesn't happen often. I definitely identified with the main character.
