"There was a lot of Elvis in my house, because my mom is of that generation. All of his movement, the way he played guitar… I was attracted to it right away. I picked up that record and the first song I heard was “Mystery Train” and just how spooky it felt."

Good fun
Introducing completely new gameplay mechanics was brave, but I think they pulled it off. As a huge Pokemon fan I play this game a lot, but the fact certain Pokemon only appear in certain continents is both cool and irritating.

I've had people (not on Smashbomb) say I talk a lot of nonsense (not this polite) about my review on Aladdin 2019. I tried to explain that I wrote what I thought. It's my opinion and as much as I like Will Smith, he just didn't play a good part as genie.

Yet another quick and easy read from the author. It was about time Sawyer got a girl for keeps but I do believe he'd changed quite a lot from the good guy we hear about at the start of The Vincent Boys. That being said, I did like this Sawyer too.

This film is a lot of fun to watch. Will Smith is hilarious, and the scenes where he drags the alien in the desert, are my favorite out of the film.
The cast is great, and Bill Pullman's Independence Day speech is probably one of the best speeches ever delivered in a film.

Been spending a lot of time reading young adult fiction... didn’t realise how dark and graphic some of the material is... makes for good reading! Really been enjoying noon-fiction to, stories from doctors, pathologists, paramedics and prison workers! What are you reading at the moment?? What are you watching?? Inspire me...

What a fun little film. Having recently watched You've Got Mail, it was very interesting to see how You've Got Mail borrowed a lot of elements from The Shop around the Corner. It was a very fun movie to watch and it ended up having some fun twists and turns. I enjoyed it!

Well done
Lots of action and great cinematography. The acting was good and the story unfolded well. There some ups and downs with a few, somewhat predictable surprises along the way. Chris Hemsworth was great. There's a lot of violence in this movie so maybe not for the kids. Otherwise, worth a watch!

My 5 y/o loves it and I can see why. A lot of eye candy and a decent story that keeps you interested. (0 more)
Narrative loses focus and almost needs a sequel to provide a satisfying arc, the end felt a bit flat minus the love story (0 more)
Not great, but pretty good
