This was an absolutely fascinating book, even if it felt like it was sometimes going over my head. I will advise anyone who doesn't have an especially good pre-existing grasp on theoretical physics to perhaps avoid reading the footnotes as you go along, as it can actually make some of the information harder to absorb. That being said, there is much to learn in these pages, and if nothing else, it will certainly leave you with a lot to think about.

Always funny
Always putstanding
The giant beastcast is a weekly podcast (out every friday) that talk about video games mainly. They go down some rabbit holes but it's always entertaining listening to whatever they talk about. They all work at giantbomb.com (except for one who works at cnet). Every member of the podcast definitely has their own personality and they all mesh well and add a lot to the podcast. Highly recommend for a good listen every week.

Not what I was expecting - but ok read
I did finish and enjoy this book to an extent. I read it as it's been raved about on social media and I don't think it deserved the hype. Was Good, but I skipped a lot of unnecessary detail and the end was disappointing

Should have locked its self up
This movie had a lot of potential but from the start you can tell that they didn't really know where they were going with it the acting was pretty bad the plot while there just never really took off and near the end it's kind of like they didn't know what they were doing and just slapped a bunch of stuff together and then Tada it was over, very weird pacing overall definitely let down.

The annual arts festival is approaching in Paradise, Colorado, but a last minute switch of the person in charge doesn't make anyone happy. When the new chairwoman is murdered in the parking lot of Abby's candy store, things get even hotter. I love the characters, and the plot kept me guessing. As with the previous books, the ending was rather abrupt.

Not terribly creative, but gets the job done
Maybe Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson will be the next Mel Gibson and Danny Glover or Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan!

Entertaining throughout with some witty dialogue and creative action scenes, you could certainly do a lot worse than this action comedy.

The Reynolds-Jackson chemistry is what works best in the film and takes you through some of the dull moments.

I was entertained throughout.

Meh...
First off, some of the stories in this book were good. A lot of them were confusing. Maybe it’s just me. I don’t know how to describe how they were confusing. It’s just that sometimes I didn’t know what was going on. Like I said, maybe that was just me. This book did hold my attention for the most part though.

I would still recommend this book to others as they may enjoy it.

Far from Perfect
One thing is for sure, I loved the topics of the story but I also think the author was trying to master too many things in one book. I loved that it talked about teen pregnancy, adoptions, and sexuality for young adults. Each of the characters had a lot of difficulties but they showed what its like to be a real family.

I couldn’t really get into this book, but I’ll readily admit that memoirs and biographies are not my usual reading fare. I had listened to another autobiographical audiobook just before this one and thought I’d enjoy this one just as much, but no luck.

Ther wer parts of this book that were funny (expected) and parts that were insightful (pleasantly surprising), but a lot that was just meh.

It would be good reading for anyone interested in the improve scene.

I was so happy to read Martin Shorts story. But his story was definitely not as happy as I assumed it was. Why are comedians always so troubled??

Not that this makes it a depressing read, it's extremely interesting, very funny at times, and I learned a lot about Martin and Hollywood as well!

So glad to still have great comedic minds like Mr. Short alive and well and making us laugh. A very interesting bio well worth the read.
