2010 post apocalyptic action/adventure, which is about as close as I've ever come to seeing the author David Gemmell's character of Jon Shannow (aka The Jerusalem Man) on screen!

Let's see the similarities:

Post apocalyptic? Check.
Essentially a Western? Check.
Lone survivor wandering the plains/roads? Check.
Said survivor looking for redemption? Check.
Whilst carrying/quoting from a Bible? Check.
Gunfights and bar-room brawls? Check.

Yes, there are differences - including a very big reveal at the end - but, all in all, there are a heck of a lot of similarities ...

I struggled with this from early on. It wasn't as engaging as the previous two and I didn't gel with the characters half as much. The smoothness wasn't there either and it all felt rather awkward, the writing rather posh and a lot of the words I had to look up on the kindle's dictionary because I had no idea what they meant.

The best bits for me were the mini letters the boys had written to each other about the pranks they played on their parents at the start of every chapter.

I watched this on Netflix and I did enjoy this, a lot more than i expected. I'm a gamer myself and I got the excitement of going into a VR type world and playing games like that. Who doesn't love finding easter eggs in games?

I enjoyed the storyline. It was new and fun and I was cheering on the good guys from early on. I wonder if they'll make a film based on the second book? If they do, I'll watch it.

The Conversation (1974)
The Conversation (1974)
1974 | Drama, Mystery

"The Conversation is just, I think, a movie made by one of the best auteur directors of the ’70s and ’80s. To me, I think the reason that I would choose that one is the sound editing. Even though Hackman does play a sound guy, the sound of the movie is really innovative. You have conversations that are happening in the foreground that you can barely hear, and yet that’s the main conversation, so they play around a lot with where they put the microphone. It’s really awesome."

Just ok
Insidious inte was great. The second not as good. This one? Also not as good. I like the actress who plays the psychic. The rest of the cast was just ok. The cinematography was good but they really overdid it on the jump scares. The story wasn't too bad. Kinda what you come up expect from these films. If you liked the first two, you'll probably enjoy this one, too. While not great, it's better than a lot of horror movies these days. Worth a watch.

Awesome App
I suffer with CMT and this app helps me to monitor and keep track of my condition. There are lots of questions and surveys which help to keep a huge database of symptoms, pains and other things associated with CMT. You can choose when to fill in the surveys and they are constantly updating the app with more information and analysis tools. This app will help to understand CMT a lot better than a consultation can. A must have for CMT sufferers

Dr. Paul Kersey is an experienced trauma surgeon, a man who has spent his life saving lives. After an attack on his family, Paul embarks on his own mission for justice.

Was it ridiculous? Yes. Was it amazingly entertaining? Also, yes. It does what it says on the tin basically. Bruce Willis doing what we love him doing... shooting people... a lot. There's honestly not much more to say about it. Good action movie, that will leave you having second thoughts about ever using your onboard sat-nav again.

I found this book on my bookcase, not quite sure how I came to possess it, but thought I would.give it a read. I like to give every book a chance, but I couldn't get into this one, I really struggled with it. The plot was flimsy, if not non existent, and the characters are totally unrelateable. It takes a lot for me to give a book only two stars, but this book managed it. I would not recommend this book and will be giving it to the charity shop.

Not as good as I thought it would be
I was expecting greater things from a movie based on a book from Stephen King and Joe Hill.
Was a really slow start with a lot of shouting, but the acting was great from most of the characters. The middle of the movie picked up a bit and got me interested and then the ending arrived and just confused everything. I can kinda make sense of some of it, but it left too many questions that I don't even want the answers to.

*SEASON 1* An incredible piece of TV.This has the lot, beautiful photography,a mind bending storyline and some amazing atmospheric music.

Set in a small German town with a child has gone missing you think that this is just going to be another mystery or drama show that deals with said child I promise you it's not. There are other weird things going on in this town and nearly every person in it has a secret or something to hide.

This show is something special.Looking forward to starting season 2 ASAP.
