My Mother's Quilt is a sweet and thoughtful book. It sure to tell you about each quilt and tells you the story behind each one. Not only that, the author puts it in where you learn her family history as you read it. Each quilt tells about each crafter and her life and its only story. It passed down from generation to generation.

It's a Nonfiction story to me. You also learn about faith and family history and learn a lot about how hard it is to create a quilt. The author wanted to tell you about the family history, though quilts and how it helped with life and shaping each family member and their family through each quilt.

This book is best for quilters and fans that enjoy learning about quilts.

Cast was incredible! McCarthy and Hemsworth were perfect choices, would have loved more of Bill Murray's character though! (2 more)
Great story flow and sequences. I would have liked more from Rowan, but the Kevin twist was superb!
Characters blended perfectly together. EXCELLENT CHEMISTRY from top billing to minor characters.
The movie should have acknowledged that this is an alternate dimension, which it is. People are more intrigued with it being an alternate dimension that a reboot, because the sequel comics are even more awesome! (1 more)
I need more depth from Rowan, guy was a genius who was left looking like a bumbling fool, and a whole lot more Martin Heiss, especially after the fall! Imagine a wacky neck brace sporting Dr. Heiss freaking out about being proven wrong and going crazy!
Third Chapter IS Alternate Dimension!

I thought that this was a pretty good book! From what I had heard from other friends, however I thought it would be more creepy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I think that I may have a different sense of what is creepy than they do, though. It was a fun, quick read with really cool illustrations. If you want a good read that will only take a couple of hours. I highly suggest this book. There were a lot of moments I found predictable, but I was still intrigued by the ideas of the novel. I gave it a four out of five stars because I wanted it to kick up the creepy factor a notch, but all-in-all it was a really good book!

The Soundtrack.
An epic rambling cinematic adventure and a gem that is filled with humor and amazing moments... my favorite Coen brothers film.
I just love this movie.... George Clooney as the smooth and fast talking pretty boy... and John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson. I don't think there is a performance that falls short of excellent from the entire cast. Even the blind Radio Station Man. The soundtrack alone gets played a lot on my iPod. I love the old timey feel and the great rhythm. It's so damn catchy. The whole thing feels like an epic goofy journey and it's inspired by Homer, so you know it's good. For added goodness, here's some alternate movie posters...

I wish I was as cool as these nerds!
If this is really what happens when "nerds" go to college, I want to enroll!

Lewis and Gilbert think things will be different when they show up to attend Atoms College. Unfortunately, the football jocks and the cheerleaders have some immature fun at the expense of the nerds.

Never fear, however, the nerds devise a plan to get even and ultimately win a seat on the Greek counsel in an attempt to change opinions around the college.

Much of the film is raunchy, immature humor with a lot of 80s nudity thrown in; however, some of the characters are down right hilarious and many of the scenes are very funny. It is still one of my go to 80s comedy gems.

I haven't read many detective books as their usually not my type of book. However, having read the summary of this book, I thought I'd give it a go.

I'm so glad I read it. It is amazing!! Definitely my favourite detective book. There are plenty of twists and turns in this book right up until the very end, literally!! I kept thinking I had figured out the plot, then something else would happen to totally throw me off.

I never would've predicted the ending which says a lot as I'm usually able to figure out the plot at least by the middle of the book.

Definitely give this book a read even if it isn't your usual genre. This book has made me want to read more detective novels!

A Mixed Bag
Full review here:

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom started well. Most things to do with the island, volcano and all, worked for me. There was even a moment that genuinely had an emotional impact on me and I wasn't expecting that at all. The wheels fell off for me though as soon as the setting changed. Whilst I appreciate the horror tone that it was going for, it all felt a bit B movie and so far removed from what made me fall in love with the franchise in the first place. The ending was intriguing and opens up some interesting possibilities for what's next, but on the whole, this was a real mixed bag.

I love this game and bought a PS4 just so I could play it as I was a Xbox owner.

I love that you have so many choices on the difficulty level as sometimes you just want to do story mode and explore the world. Other times you want more of a challenge to the game.

I dropped 1 point to it because you have a lot of different characters flirting with Aloy (and i love how she responds to it as to me it shows how she was raised in isolation) but I would have liked there to be more options on how it could develop relationships for better or worse depending on your responses.

Overall I think it's a fantastic game and can't wait for the next.

This book reads a lot like a fairy story, starring a girl who feels drawn into the magical world of the forest despite her attachments to the world outside. The writing style felt very lyrical, which seemed very appropriate for the story, and helped to pull me into it all the more effectively. Though it took me a couple of chapters to really get into the story, once I did I found that it was a quick read and kept me interested in the characters and what would happen next. If you're looking for an action packed fantasy story this might not be the book for you, but if you're looking for a magical story and beautiful writing this might be a good book for you to pick up.

I love the convenience of being able to get what ever I need from the comfort of my own home. There’s a great selection of products to choose from and the reviews help me make good choices. (0 more)
I love shopping on amazon. Being a wheelchair user, a lot of shops just aren’t accessible to me. Amazon allows me to find what I need, be able to check reviews and see what other people thought before buying and makes being disabled that little bit less of an inconvenience. I’m not sure what I would do with out it, especially when it comes to books as I have yet to find a book shop in my area that is accessible with my chair. So now I just do my book browsing on amazon instead :)
