A real page turner. Shocker.
Just give me a minute to pick my jaw up off the floor after that outcome and twist. Wow. Not expected at all and a true shocker! Wow. I devoured this book within a day and loved it!

I loved how the story was told through therapy sessions within the hospital… There is a lot of back and forth within this book but the author has made it clear when its changes so there is no confusion. A cleverly written, thrilling story you will not want to put down.

Can easily be finished in one sitting. It was brilliant. Would highly recommend this to you all. A well deserved five stars! A true shocker. Jaw dropping. Addictive. A real page turner. Loved reading every minute of this one.

Odd Netflix series
I heard some good things about this and it seemed mysterious, so I gave it a whirl. You'll be hooked early on given the strange premise. A towns teenager's go on a bus trip and come back to find all the adults have gone. There also appears to be no contact with the outside world. It has various religious, political themes running through it. About halfway through though it becomes quite slow and focuses on who has the power in the town. The ending was abrupt and felt unfinished. No doubt to set up a second series. It's quite long with 10 episodes each around an hour long. It's ok but could have been a lot better.

Animated films, I feel, do snow a lot better than the majority of live-action movies. Why? Well it’s much easier to render snow when you’re creating a film that is solely CGI, you don’t need to worry too much about realism or shooting on location.

Ice Age remains one of the all-time greats of the genre, and in my opinion, it’s a little underrated. It’s spawned numerous decent quality sequels and has a cracking cast and a light, witty script that’s perfect for adults and children alike to enjoy. The snow is part and parcel of the movie, so that’s why it avalanches its way to number four in this list. Get it, avalanches? I’m on a roll.

Story was bland, back story for Dru and Gru was weak at best. (0 more)
Despicalbly Meh!

So after a long while I actually watched this and as an avid lover of Despicable Me, I can tell you...it was bland at best. The characters had their usual comical charm and the whole Agnes and finding a real unicorn thing was so cute but they really could have done more with Gru and Dru. Dru could have been given a better overall story arc. And I feel they could have brought more of this infamous villain father into things a lot more. I feel over all three was alot more room for story and comedic content in this one, compared to the first two movies

Entertaining
I've read reviews of this movie and they mostly were not good. I honestly don't know why. Perhaps people were trying to take it too seriously? Anyway, I enjoyed it very much. A fun fantasy story filled with magic, monsters, samurai and of course, sword fights. I have always enjoyed samurai movies(Seven Samurai is my absolute favorite). This one was just a lot of fun. The acting and cinematography were well done and the story flowed nicely. Plenty of intense action and it even had a love story. Didn't have the happiest of endings but not all movies do. Supposedly based on a historical group of samurai in Japan but, of course, with some great fantastical story telling weaved throughout. This one is definitely worth a watch!

Wow... I didn't know what this story would be about when I started it. I am so glad I decided to do so anyways because it was amazing and wonderful. It was dark.. it was high.. it was low.. it was all over the place.. my feelings were invested so much that I kept reading until it was over and then I was left wishing I had more. It was wonderful. The writing was deep and complex and it was a roller coaster ride of emotions. The writing was erotic, thrilling and sensual.. it made you think... and made you wonder about what was happening next and there were a lot of surprises. Totally amazing story by Gavazzoni and I recommend it if you enjoy a dark, thrilling and suspensful story.

Hit
I was pleasantly surprised at this, fearing another alien film closer to Skyline, this was a lot more like Independence Day at sea!! The SFX are really great and certainly has a impressive feel to it. There is plenty of action and a mix of humour as well with a well chosen cast. Yep it seems to skip a bit of the story early on in the film, unless I missed a 1 year later text pop up? At times it could almost be an advert for the American Navy, past and present. It manages to pay homage to the Battleship game as well in one scene, and Brooklyn Decker is great eye candy. If you enjoy a no-brainer, fun action film....like Independence day, then you'll have a blast!

Disappointing
There were a lot of aspects of this sci-fi thriller that I wanted to love, but the constant hyper-specialisation of women's bodies became irritating.

Similar to Blade Runner in terms of the setting, this dystopian series follows Takeshi Kovacs, after his downloaded self is put into a new body 250 years later, and he is forced to solve the murder of a man who has no memory of what happened to him in his last moments. In the future, humans have 'sleeves' and can officially never die but just get put back into a new body.

After a while, this just bordered on ridiculous (more so than your average sci-fi), and there are far too many storylines happening at the same time. I began tuning out after a while.

Star Realms Review
As a seasoned, dedicated Magic: The Gathering player, Star Realms really hits a home run for me. It’s certainly not Magic, not in terms of complexity, cost, design, or artwork. But the feeling of direct combat, me versus you, to see who wins is something that hasn’t existed in a deck builder before. It scratches a competitive itch that I’ve always had in a very similar way to Magic, and a way that other games fail to do. While everyone, myself included, draws the obvious comparison to CCGs, there is a lot to love here for most gamers, regardless if you’ve played CCGs before or not. Star Realms is a great two player deck builder.
