Such a beautiful series
This entire series is so amazing. The scenes are described is such rich detail that it transports you into the story. Feyre was easy to love. She is a very strong female character and I was invested in her story from the start. Tamlin intrigued me and I really felt drawn to Lucien. I felt like I was drawn to his character.

Overall, the story didn't start to irritate me until the end and to be fair it was left with the opportunity for a more interesting sequel. I was just really impressed with it's strong, imaginative opening and then disillusioned with the cliche ending. Despite just an "okay" review, I still might give the second book a go.

Good idea
I enjoyed this book, not sure if it is YA or sci-fi. Sometimes the story felt more basic and others it was quite gory. I love the premise and the overall dystopia story. Flicking between the different people is good and builds tension. Overall worth a read - im not sure there is enough for me to read the next books.

It's like rewashing the clothes you just washed...
Set somewhat immediately after the first only to jump several months, the KB2 was as expected, a bumpy story about wether a long distance relationship can work or not.
Circling around old friendships and new love intetests and the value of trust, the story felt rushed at times but was still enjoyable and more mature (sometimes).

Watch Me Walk Away, is one fabulous love story. It's the story of Lisa and Bobby, two people who fell in love during high school only to be separated by war, and united once again.

Bobby ruined Lisa when he broke her heart and left to go fight in the war. Lisa never stopped loving Bobby, and was just left to pick up the pieces of her life. Lisa has finally moved on to Stuart and now Bobby's back and doing better than ever. Will Bobby win back Lisa's heart or will he watch her walk away with Stuart?

The story was easy to get into and easy to love. Lisa and Bobby were great characters, and Jill Prand brought them to life for me with her wonderful storytelling. I felt bad to Lisa when her heart was breaking (we've all been there right?), and I was rooting for Bobby when he came back into her life. I felt like the character's own personal cheering squad. Brad (Lisa & Bobby's high school friend), is a great character and one I could relate to all too well. Brad is in love with Lisa and they are harboring a dark secret, one that hopefully Bobby never finds out about.

I pretty much devoured this book! It took me 2 days to read, and I wish I had more story to read. I would love to see more of Brad in the future, and it would be awesome if he had a spin-off book of his own. I think he is a character that needs to have his story told. I can't wait for the sequel!

So much love for this book
I have so much love for this book. I love how descriptive it was when we were experiencing Scarletts emotions. I was definitely invested and pulled into the story. There were a few things I didn't like or didn't understand. I didn't like how long it took for Scarlett to come into being herself and standing up for herself I just felt like that took a little longer than it should have. I also didn't understand how some of the magic worked in certain places but then didn't work the same in other places. I also feel like we could have learned a bit more about Scarletts finance when and were he was involved. I dont feel like these took away to much from the story though to love it.

Love in Exile by Ayse Kulin is a family narrative told between 1903 and 1941 during difficult times in Turkey. It occurs after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the Balkan Wars and World War I. During this time families were torn apart by politics and war. This story is not just about war and difficult times but also a love story of two people who must find a way to be together despite their family differences and objections.

Sabahat Yedic is a lovely and smart woman who wishes to peruse her education despite the cultural expectations that she finish. She is driven and stubborn and stands up for her wish to complete her goal. Sabahat's family is Muslim. Her family taught her that as a women she should have a good family and children but she believes that her life should be so much more. She persuades her family allow her to continue her education. Sabahat meets a handsome mane named Aram, who is a young Armenian Christian. He has many qualities and views that match the same views of Sabahat. Soon after meeting they fell in love. The two love birds could have allowed their families to dictate who they love but decided to not allow their families choose who to love. They withstand traditions and risk everything to be together.
The descriptions of the city of Istanbul during the time of the story allowed for the story to come alive. I could feel the love and everything that surrounded me as I read.

I received this book from the published via NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.
