This series gets better as each season goes by.
When this spinoff first started I couldn’t get into it, I was really unconvinced and thought it was going to be different than it was. I didn’t believe their storylines could really merge together as fast as they have. However, now I really love the characters and the story line as much as I do TWD.

Didn't live up to the hype
I like books that have the story from different viewpoints. I had read loads of snippet reviews of this book which was why I was drawn to it, however I was not very keen on any of the main characters. I felt they were all quite one dimensional. I wanted to love this book but unfortunately I didn't

Hapless Adam makes you root for him with help from Mungo
This is a touching yet funny story. Hapless Adam is frustrating at the start but you can't help but root for his success. Mungo Thunk comes along to help. I realised I'm a little bit Adam and my husband is a little bit Mungo which made me love the book even more.

"I love Kay Thompson! This is a wonderfully interesting, true story that still hasn't been made into a movie! Truth be told I considered optioning this for a film. The incredibly talented and eccentric Kay made her mark in history with her iconic (Vreelandesque) role in Funny Face, her classic children's book Eloise, and her famous nightclub act — just parts of an incredible journey and life."

"I’ve read The Vacationers and Modern Lovers, both in the summer. Emma Straub's books are like a rosé wine served best while the sun shines, bright and bubbling. Her quick wit and compulsively readable plots make her books perfect summer reads. All Adults Here is no exception. It is a story about families, love and forgiveness that you can read in a single sitting."

4.5 stars

I don't remember much from the first one in this series but it had to be amazing for me to give it five stars because I very rarely give them out.

I didn't need to remember much though because a lot was explained at least he beginning of this and I just fell back into the story. I love Daemon!

Off to start book three!!

"Then The Graduate. It’s just one of the greatest comedies of all time. The way Dustin Hoffman is… You know, I guess that was his first big break and he just blew me away when I first saw that. Extraordinary performance, and you know, Mike Nichols. Just amazing, the way it’s shot; it’s just absolutely beautiful. And also, an incredible, quirky kind of love story."
