I do like short stories, and this collection, Normal Rules Don’t Apply by Kate Atkinson is exceptionally good.

It’s a collection of interconnected, quirky stories, set within different genres. Every story surprised me with how much I enjoyed it, it’s oddness, offbeat approach and sheer surrealism! I mean, I LOVE an odd story, and this collection most certainly delivered! I’m really glad I picked this book up!

Stand out story: The Void (it’s apocalyptic!).

Love this show
The story is amazing and you can easy follow what is going on. It has its moments where your left wondering and are satisfied by the outcome. It gets intense and I enjoyed the characters and how they developed in the second season.

A classic
I still love this story after countless readings and about as many reboots. Few are unfamiliar with the story, which lends itself well to contemporary retellings. But I enjoy revisiting the original now and then. It's a very quick read, and one of my favorite ghost stories and tales of redemption. If Scrooge can change, who can't?

Fun Christian Romance
I’m usually not a romance person. Mainly because I don’t want to read about sex. I would rather the story continue. That being said, I love this Christian Romance series! The mystery of Regina’s grandmother kept me hooked, the romance between the characters developed slowly, and there were spiritual overtures scattered throughout the story.

"The sheer moxie of situating the story of the story in the end notes. This is the eternal tale of the heartbreak of the homely girl’s humiliation in love, and her parents who have to watch. All seen from the best of all unreliable narrators who may or may not be nuts or a Russian royal."

Nope
This was one of the most boring books I've read. Being a classic I wanted to love it but I just couldn't care less about the characters and the story line was so dull.
