Jace's Trial by JM Wolf is a M/M Contemporary Romance with a May / December Romance element. JM is a new to me author as this is the first of his books that I've read. What I will say is that I was not disappointed in the least. Normally, I'm a bit more leery of first person point of views because I have a harder time being drawn into the book as opposed to third person. Jace's Trial was one of those books that I absolutely loved. Not only did it draw me in completely but it pulled at all my 'feels'. It had me crying more than once. Not just sniffling but 'ugly crying'. When you read this definitely make sure you have the tissues ready.

The story was fast paced and a roller coaster ride that I didn't want to get off of. The character development was amazing. The world development was perfect as well. The Happily Ever After at the end was sweet and perfect. Jace's trial had it all. Love, hurt, angst and loss. I definitely will be reading more from this author.

Pick up this book today and give it a try.

I was dragged into this from pretty early on. The connection between the four friends was amazing. They'd been through so much together. I'm definitely intrigued about reading the rest of their stories though I think since the series is all m/m romances that some shit is going to go down in the next books.

I loved the sexual tension between our boys in this. It was pretty scorching and when they finally gave into it, the romantic aspect of their relationship was so nice. I think they'd have died to save each other in the end.

One thing I did love was that the romance wasn't the main focus. These guys are badarse mofo's and kicked butt in a few scenes. The other part of the storyline when Lucas gets beat up over an investment was rather intriguing. Who was behind it and all that.

Definitely up for reading the rest of the series. Ashton/Snow's story next.

In the final book of the series, we get closer to finding out just why Ben shot Rick and Cole right at the beginning. Of course, this being a Cole McGinnis book, there's just no simple answer. We have to have people shot, chases, action, and don't forget the llamas! There are less than six degrees of separation for our characters, and as the mystery unfolds, characters show up that were once closely linked to Cole, Bobby, and Ben.

Well-written with a brilliant epilogue, this brilliantly concludes the series. And it is a series, a proper, full-on series, so you will need to read from book one for it to make any sense. If you like M/M Mystery Romance, then I can definitely recommend this.

* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *
