The same old story of kids experience amazing things and parent doesn't believe them. Also, kids should definitely not know about money problems. (0 more)

The storyline was well written, though the fact that the kids were aware of the financial issues is a big no for me. The kids experiencing the magic and the adults not believing them is a bit overdone as well. The family experience is very relatable. The magic the kids experienced was not overdone and was excellently planned. I never saw the original, but this movie was excellent.
