Loved it
I came across Harry Potter when the school my kids went to was trying to have the books banned and removed. So in research mode I read the first one (sorcerer's stone) and was hooked. This book opens a whole world of magic and friendship, good vs bad and all that you would expect from a magic school. Awesome read!

Holy wow, this was wonderful. It has magic, to be specific earth magic, and it has mystery and love and paranormal. There is fighting, making up, love, night life, magic, and so much more. Alex Conner is witty, sexy, strong, and a mystery. Parker Sinclair's writing takes you on a whirlwind of emotions and intrique and mystery. It is an amazing start to a wonderful series and it will pull you into this fast paced story that you have to keep reading until it's over and you still need more. I cannot wait for book 2 and to see what happens next.

This is not your average magic show. Darren Romeo is a really good magician and singer. The illusions are top notch and worth going to see. This is a magic show so there are going to be dancers and assistants that wear outfits that show some skin. Live animals are a part of the show but it isn't an animal act.
I love watching magic in any way I can, live being the best, and I can say that this is a great show. The pop cultural references span the ages well and I have taken my niece there.

"Same thing, The Wizard of Oz — that will always be one of my all-time favorites. The transition from black-and-white into color, you know, that idea of merging the two worlds using cinematic magic, to meld those worlds for the first time ever. I mean, you look back at the movie and obviously you can see now that there were backdrops and cheap sets and all of that kind of stuff, where today we would probably laugh at it and brush it off as a B-movie. But in those days it was magic. And it’s still magic."
