I was introduced to V E Schwabs work in January by a friend and i pretty much read all her series in the space of a week an a half. However out of all of her books the darker shade series is my Favorite, Victoria creates an amazing world within world. Her characters are lovable and flawed than will make you love them more. Lila Bard is a fantastic Female protagonist and whilst Kell may be the lead there chemistry together is undeniable.
If you love fantasy good story telling magic mystery suspense then these books are for you!

The Greatest 3D Platformer of All Time

Super Mario 64 was a revelation in its time. I was so blown away as a kid by how massive in scope the game was, how much there was to do and see. Sure, games today have gotten bigger and prettier, but they often lack the magic and charm ofSuper Mario 64. There were plenty of other great platformers in the same era, Banjo-Kazooie, Rayman, and Spyro to name a few. Super Mario 64 reigns supreme though. Nintendo did it first, and they also did it best.

Loved this book! I would love to see this as a movie as long as great care was taken in making the magic happen. Wars fought with only chalk drawings by a few select Rithmatists who can control the lines. Unfortunately for Joel he wasn't selected as a Rithmatist but still learns as much as he can about them and their history. This obsession proves to be useful after students go missing from school.
The illustrations in the book were fantastic and went right along with the story and helped with understanding how exactly the chalk drawings are setup and used. Seriously cannot wait for book #2 to hopefully come out sooner rather than later. Amazing author!

13 is a number that can be both good or bad for someone. For Aria it tends to bring out her powers. Yup powers... See she is actually magical and doesn't know it until two hot guys show up and show her the way. You may be wondering, but no this isn't a 2 guys 1 girl story. Sure a love triangle is inevitable but it does get resolved.
In that time we get an adventure, magic, romance, and plots upon plots. One can never know till the end who is on which side and where to put your trust.
Truly this was a well written and inviting story with all the fantasy elements one could want.

This book was not meant to be an easy fluffy read. This book is going to bring out ferocity, anger, pain, and sadness. It is wonderfully written and beautifully poetic. Each character has a back story that unfolds in ways you arent expecting. You root for one side then switch as you find out more and more.
While I began with a dislike of the main character I think that was supposed to happen? As the book progresses she got less naive.
Perfect for fans of fantasy, retribution, and magic. But be forewarned that this book will destroy you with each page and require some serious reflection before you can move on.

I really loved the premise of this book. Science mixed with magic and what happens when you don't exactly know the problems that could arise. The action was abundant and exciting. I mean it starts with a tornado and people dying. If that isn't throwing you right into the middle of it.
The book includes artwork that is reminiscent of comic books and give you a sense of what the characters look like in the authors mind. It helped me picture a lot of things that weren't properly shown.
The ending was enjoyable and showed that not all family is blood.
If you liked any of the other books by these authors then definitely check it out.

                                Fast paced story (1 more)

Gripping story from beginning to end

I got Kindle Unlimited for a couple of months and this is the third book I have read. Out of three this is the best by far. The story is told from the viewpoint of Heather and Aefre (The Crone).
Heather is a grieving mother who becomes obsessed with the circumstances of her sons death. Things are not quite as they seem.
Her research leads her to meet a number of different interesting characters and on a journey with a twist at the end.
Would definitely recommend reading this if you like something a bit darker from a book.

Some of the best British TV moments

Red dwarf is one of my all time favourite TV shows. The chemistry between the characters, particularly Rimmer and Lister, is sublime. The first season was a really good introduction, but in my opinion has not aged too well. There are still some absolutely brilliant moments, but the series feels very much like its finding its feet. Season three to six are some of the greatest TV episodes I've ever seen, and Season five and Six in particular are excellent. Season 7 and 8 were so-so, and the later ones were starting to return to some of the old magic.

I have a soft spot for bounty hunters and space. Put those two together and you have a recipe for magic. This novel was exactly up my alley and I loved everything about it. After reading Katherine McIntyres Stolen Petals, I was jonesing for another story similar. This was a perfect match. With a fierce female lead and a deliciously devious male lead, the couple burned up the pages. Its not erotic however, having a plot interesting enough to keep my attention when they werent setting the book on fire.
Overall, the novel reads quick, but it is rather enjoyable. If you like strong female bounty hunters and the men who love them, I recommend it.

        Pandemic Legacy: Season 2 Review

Everyone wants to make a legacy game these days. After the wild success of Pandemic Legacy: Season 1, there seemed to be an explosion in campaign style games where the rules and mechanisms are changed as the game progresses.
Thus far, nothing has really been able to capture the magic of both engaging gameplay and story that Pandemic Legacy gave us. But now Season 2 is here, flipping the game on its head a bit, but promising to give us a similar experience. So, how does it stack up?
